AC Hotel by Marriott Inverness

Joined guests of the hotel for a family meet up dinner. The couple I met felt their room was a bit simple and overpriced. They are very well travelled so can give a fair assessment. They had no desk or water in their room and although a cute novelty, it's outrageous to have to pay £2 to hire an umbrella for 48 hours - anywhere in the Highlands. That is not remotely in the spirit of a highland welcome. We pride ourselves on water being free and plentiful in all forms! The cafe restaurant was busy with a lively atmosphere and nicely spacious. Service was good with friendly young staff. The small menu was good and food very nicely cooked and all hand made. I had Spanish croquettas which were unfortunately just a little too salty. My main was chicken which was lovely. We were not rushed and a pleasant time was had. As a visitor I didn't find any parking but took my chances nearby on the street. The location of this hotel is great for accessing the town centre, river etc.

While it was a vacation turned nightmare for us in Inverness, the staff at AC hotel were the most kind and helpful to us. Due to unseen circumstances, we had to extend our stay at the hotel and the reception staff did so without even batting an eyelid. I am so grateful for their timely help in getting us a taxi to the hospital and recommending us the best at it. And rest assured they made sure our stay was comfortable. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Also their food was sublime!

A Delightful Stay at AC Hotel Inverness: A Highpoint on Our NC500 Road TripOur visit to the AC Hotel in Inverness was an absolute pleasure during our adventure along the NC500 route. This hotel shone in all aspects, from the comfortable rooms to the excellent restaurant, making our stay extremely enjoyable.The room we were given at the AC Hotel was truly a highlight. Luxuriously furnished, it offered every comfort we could desire and was impeccably maintained. The design was modern and elegant, and the view from our window was a visual treat, offering a panoramic perspective of the charming city of Inverness.The on-site restaurant at the AC Hotel truly deserves a special mention. Even with a large group dining, the staff ensured we were served with care and efficiency. The food was exquisite, with the steak being a standout – it was, in fact, the best we had on our NC500 road trip. Each bite was a burst of flavours that left us craving more.The highlights of this hotel extend beyond its luxurious rooms and delightful dining. The views it offers, coupled with its value-for-money proposition, add to its charm. It successfully balances the provision of high-end comfort with affordability, enhancing the overall experience.Our experience here was delightful, and we couldn't recommend it more.

Very nice hotel and rooms. Stayed 1 night, had a good night's sleep, comfortable bed and would recommend.Absolutely fantastic customer service. A special thank you to housekeeping team and Holly at reception for being so helpful with assisting to reunite me with my forgotten electric toothbrush.

Wife and I stayed here from 26-28 July 2023 and loved the property. The staff were great, the location was excellent, and the rooms were the best I have stayed in. The ONLY reason I docked a star was due to parking. Parking is limited and you are required to pay 10 Pounds a day to park in their lot and are required to register your vehicle. I assumed it would be enforced, but it likely was not. I returned one day to a full parking lot and was told I would have to pay 7 pounds to park at a public parking deck 0.9 miles away. While I am physically able to walk that far, it was an inconvenience to say the least. During the peak season, they should offer a shuttle service if parking is an issue. Other than that, excellent hotel. Also, the breakfast was the best I have had.

Pleasantly surprised with this stay. This was our first stop on a driving tour of Scotland. I booked a standard room, but when we got there it was a nice river view room. Very quiet, short walk to plenty of restaurants and the main strip. The hotel backs up to a paved walkway that runs along the river.The room was very clean and we liked the nice hard wood flooring.Do be careful with parking, we got lucky and got the very last space in the hotel lot when we pulled in. It would have been a bit inconvenient to find off site parking.

On a recent trip with Visit Inverness Loch Ness, I spent my first evening at the AC Marriott Hotel and I have to say its beautiful and on approach almost feels out of character for such hotel nestled in the Highlands. There’s very little ‘Scottishness’ about it, which I love. (You will find a wee Nessie ornament in the reception area but that’s about it!)The AC Marriott Hotel caters to the sophisticated traveller and offers a comfortable stay in a very contemporary hotel blending modern design with warm hospitality.Guest rooms are meticulously furnished, featuring sleek and stylish decor, plush bedding, and state-of-the-art amenities. The decor is very muted but creates a sense of calm with varying tones of beige and brown used to accent features. The lights provide a soft warm glow that invites coorie time.The bed was heavenly with its perfectly placed pillows and crisp white sheets promising a night of unparalleled comfort. It delivered!My guest room had an incredible view of the River Ness through large floor to ceiling extremely sound proofed windows.On entering my guest room, I was immediately struck by the immaculate cleanliness that enveloped the space. Every surface sparkled with a pristine shine, reflecting the care and attention to detail. It was evident that no speck of dust had dared to settle anywhere within the confines of this room. In fact, the entire hotel was like this - pristine!The rooms come with coffee machine, ironing board and iron, toiletries and Smart TV.The breakfast at the AC Marriott Hotel is a delightful way to start the day. The dining area, bar, lounge, reception area all flow into one yet seem to retain their own sense of purpose.The buffet offers a selection of freshly baked pastries, breads, and croissants that are buttery and flaky. For those seeking a heartier meal, there is a hot food station where you can enjoy traditional Scottish breakfast items such as haggis, black pudding, and grilled tomatoes. The continental section features an assortment of cured meats, cheeses, and fruits, perfect for those who prefer a lighter start to their morning.Staff are attentive and happy to cater to any breakfast needs.With its convenient location for exploring the city and the Highlands, gorgeous guest rooms and wonderful staff, the AC Marriott Inverness is most definitely my choice of hotel and I highly recommend it! There were many issues from the time of check in and during our stay. The parking lot size is a joke for the amount of hotel rooms with no real options in the vicinity. The room was directly across from the elevator which is just poor planning. The floor above us did not stop stomping around from check in at 3 till after 1am. The heating vents in the entry rattled so loudly it drown out the television. The bedding was stained. The lotion and soap bottles has brown (I am assuming makeup) stains all over them. The toilet bowl had a huge crack in it and the walls plaster and paint was bubbles all over the place as if from heat or water damage. The service at the restaurant was horrible. The staff was just standing in the bar and chatting to themselves. We had to continually get up and ask for service, including when our food finally arrived and we sat waiting 5 minutes for flatware. The hotel decor on the surface and the food I will say was lovely.

This was a last minute accommodation for us when the weather altered our plans. What a pleasant surprise! The bed was so comfortable & there were little sachets of lavender in the lobby for under your pillow. Parking was easy & the hotel was walking distance to everything. We had a fantastic view from our window. Loved staying at this location.

Great hotel, very clean. Rooms were presented well but struggled to get the temperature right and the air conditioning throughout the hotel made me sniffly which was frustrating.We had breakfast included in our rate and have to say the service and quality of the food was fantastic every morning of our stay. I will definitely consider staying in a Marriott again.
