Leighton Coachworks recently returned my car after an accident I had last month (not my fault)...The accident damage looked quite severe and I felt that once it was repaired it would not be the same again - how wrong was I ???!!!They have done an amazing job and the car looks and drives like it did before the accident (also my car hasn’t looked this clean inside or out for a long time : )I found them to be very friendly and communicative from start to finish and generally a well oiled machine.I don’t usually write reviews but Leighton Coachworks have made light of a situation I was very upset about and for that, they deserve a top class review : )

Car was repaired as part of an insurance claim which needed a new front wing, bonnet and bumper.The work was a spot on job and could not be happier with the results and would recommend to anyone.I read a few reviews before the car went in with people saying the receptionist was rude and unfriendly, but I had the complete opposite. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and very helpful.

Can't thank Leighton Coachworks enough for repairing the bonnet on my Boxter after someone vandalised it. Top class service and really pleased that my car looks like new again! I'll definitely use you guys again in the future and recommend you to my friends. Thank you!

My car went in last year to have work done, after coming back to me it appeared they hadn’t got the air lock out of my radiator causing the car to begin to overheat as it drank the coolant. They fixed this issue straight away with no issues, earlier this year the paint work began to laquer peel and this will cause the paint to fade when sunlight hits it directly, having contacted them 4 times I went to drop my car off which I had emptied of personal belongings due to the change over. They then told me they needed my diving license I live about 45 minutes away from this company. 4 times contacting me but didn’t mention it?The receptionists attitude was absolutely vile and not professional at all and this completely let down the whole company she spoke to me and my friend like we were poo on her shoe and it was disgusting behaviour from a company I paid to fix my car. 3 times my car has gone back, absolutely disgusted with how I was treated and never even received an apology they aren’t even worth 1 star it just doesn’t have an option for that. A complete joke of a ‘business’.

My car went into this garage to have works carried out for an insurance claim. I wasn't sure how I felt about it going to a non VW dealership, but I honestly couldn't rate this company highly enough. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional, they did a brilliant job repairing the damage to my car, also cleaned it inside and out (which I wasn't expecting) and removed some marks caused by people opening their doors onto my car. Car picked up early Friday morning and delivered back to me today. Extremely pleased and would highly recommend.

Difficult to find. Poor attitude from ALL staff. Especially the reception. Rude to my face and over the phone.I would NEVER reccomend. If this is how they treat people i dread to think how they treat cars. “20 years experience” means nothing. Is customer experience that proves more.

Extremely demanding of their customers. Extremely rude too. I would not recommend at all!!!!!They also lied to me about extra charges of my hire car, enterprise has told me my insurance company have paid for my car over the bank holiday. I have put a complaint in to the insurance company.

Used this company to repair my accident damage and they've done an excellent job, very speedy and customer service is incredible. What a positive experience theyve definitely gone the extra mile. Cannot rate them high enough thank you.

Wow what can I say my cherished car pranged and spoiled my day. Bob the boss was great to deal with and whoever repaired the bang did superb job and made my year. Hope I don't need Bob again but would not go anywhere else for car body repair. Highly recommended

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!initially told me my car was drivable when it obviously wasn't. They then told me my repairs we're booked in for 30th of August but when I called on the 26th to find out what the plan was for collection and courtesy car they told me it was cancelled and they don't know why and the lady who could help was on holiday.When I called today to find out what had happened they told me it was my fault and I didn't confirm even though the dates were confirmed by them initially and I called in advance to arrange collection.They were rude and unhelpful throughout.If your insurance company puts you through to these incompetent people request another garage!!!AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
