Sadly not a good experience here with the dealership or Mercedes UK as a whole.I purchased a new C 300e in May. In August, after less than 3 months and 4,000 miles. The car broke down.Once the dealership got it recovered, they were unable to get the part to fix it. While I did have a courtesy car, I was left in limbo for weeks chasing non existent updates.After waiting for 30 days, and in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act, I requested a refund for the vehicle as a reasonable time had passed in order for them to repair it.Trying to get hold of any senior management was a real struggle. When you could get hold of them, they would promise to follow up, but very rarely would they get back in touch. The car was finally repaired after nearly 40 days, the dealership rang me to say they would not respect my right to reject the vehicle and they would be offering no form of compensation what so ever. The would not put anything in writing to me and said their hands were tied as it was Mercedes UK who made the decision.I have written and called Mercedes UK a number of times, but they have never followed up. So you are left stuck between the dealership and the manufacture with no one taking any responsibility.Since getting the car back, it has had to go back again for a faulty sensor.Beware. The reliability of these cars does seem to be highly questionable. And when it does go wrong you are left stuck waiting for parts, and dealership management team who just fob you off and a manufacture that will not respond to your complaint.PS – before you offer the stock response to contact your marketing email, you have all my details and I am still waiting for your Transaction Manager to call me.PPS – The recovery truck driver told me he is picking up broken down Mercedes and BMWs on a very regular basis. Audi was the manufacture he saw lest issues with if you are thinking of where you next purchase should be.

After stubbornly staying with another Mercedes dealer for over 10 years, I took the opportunity to take my E-Class to Mercedes-Benz Bishop Stortford, after a good friend recommended them.All I can say is I wish I had taken my car to this dealer years ago! What a breath of fresh air it was, from my initial greeting at the reception to the excellent customer service from the Service Department. I can't fault this dealer one bit, and it will now be my dealer of choice.Thanks again to all the staff I met, and for reminding me great customer service is still a exists!Edit: I actually said to the Service Manager I don't normally write reviews and thanked him and his staff personally. But here we are!

Don’t recommend at all.Been their customers since 2019. Had 2 times service B. Each time they forgot to refill AdBlue. The last time, the oil level is also too low. So they came and brought me AdBlue and oil afterwards I talked to them.They replaced the front tires however didn’t adjust the air pressures. All was different pressure.Lastly, I called again recently to get quotation to replace my battery, never called back.Not sure they really checked the car because the exterior filter was full of dust. After calling them, they told me that it will be changed when it’s needed. Even after seeing this picture attached, would you imagine not to change?

Had terrible problems getting my car repaired at another Mercedes dealer which was there totaling approximately 10 weeks and still wasn’t repaired.Went to the Bishop stortford branch and they found the fault with my car straight away.Charlie And Dennys in the service department were brilliant.Excellent service100 % Recommend

Absolute let down. Alex Pollitt was very good at the start untill I parted with my money and required attention to the vehicle. I purchased a car with 5000 miles on it so you can say it’s almost new and so the vehicles conditions should reflect this. They as usual on the handover made the car look amazing with whatever wax they use. It’s only after I gave the car it’s first decontamination wash I noticed the true skin of the car. A good few scratch’s around the car, a graze on the rear bumber and waterspots on several panals of the car. I reached out to the manager Steve Sullivan who closed the deal with me initially after passing me onto Alex Polliitt. So I was asked to bring the car in and they would sort it out. I did and the rear bumble graze was the only bit sorted everything else was left and or made worse. The amateur so called paint specialist used a rotary machine to try and get the waterspots out and completely ruined the topcoat. I challenged them about this and Steve Sullivan agreed that maybe they should’ve sent me car to their approved bodyshop in the first place. From then it was all downhill for me. I had Alex the kid who was in charge of looking after my car. I tried getting hold of him several times but of course he was most likely busy with fleecing another poor sole. When he eventually did get back to me he had arranged my car to be taken into their so called approved bodyshop but at this point I lost all hope and asked them that this isn’t what I wanted and that I would prefer if I took the car to someone I trusted. Also asked if they can contribute towards the cost of repair. Alex’s tone changed instantly, he than tried denying that the damage was caused by them and when I challenged this he’s reply was I don’t want to argue and the manager will call you and he put the phone down. This was 9 months ago and still waiting for that call. Had I known the experience would be as bad as this I definitely would’ve gone elsewhere. Please be advised, be careful they want you’re money and will put on tiara’s to sell you the car. I’m not a first time buyer either, this isn’t the thirst Mercedes I bought and buy far the worst service I received. Toyota offer better service. Shame on you!!Reply to response: Even though I was left with the shocking experience you expected me to reach out (which I did through supplied email) but you still haven’t responded. So would it be right to say the service I received is a chain effect from your lines of management? It’s been over two weeks I sent you an email and have heard nothing!

Very helpful people, and I would like to express my sincere thanks to the services department, especially Jack. The flap that covers the fuel cap on my SUV failed to open at a petrol station on our way home to London. The nearest Mercedes dealer was at Bishops Stortford. After informing them of my problem and was assured that they would help on short notice, we drove there and was on reserve fuel by the time we arrived. They sorted the problem in no time and replaced the faulty part, a broken actuator. We were on our way in about an hour from arrival, all done under Mercedes warranty. Everyone was so helpful and welcoming. We were offered coffee and refreshments while waiting. I can not wish for a more helpful and efficient dealership.

I took my car in to have the brakes replaced… when I picked it up I noticed some paint flaking on the bumper…. Olivia called me the next day and told me they were going to paint the front bumper free of charge and give me a courtesy car…. I was informed daily on how the repair was going…. Olivia was fantastic 10 out of 10 Thank you

I rarely leave reviews but thought I should make this an exception. The service manager (I think he said Ian?) has gone above and beyond every time I have visited.I’ve previously used other garages for bits but my custom has now been won going forward.
