We had the most amazing day party. A special shout out to our bar manager Tony. They were extremely professional and helpful despite the fact it was actually their birthday. We sung them happy birthday as a thank you. They also seemed happy with our music choices :) thank you for a great day

Had my 40th birthday here. David the owner is such a lovely fella and made everything super easy for us. If you're looking for a private party space this is definitely one to beat and the garden space must be seen to be believed 10/10

Really great grassroots music venue hosting local, national and international acts. I cant give this venue high enough praise as 6 stars isn't an option - see for yourself! This venue and it's landlord - absolute diamond.

Can't believe it's taken me so long to actually catch a gig here. Interesting and packed lineup, easy walk from Temple, Meads, nice crowd, and welcome outdoor space out the back. Decent things on tap too.

I celebrated my 40th at The Thunderbolt and had an amazing time! The garden area was perfect during the hot weather and the inside dance floor saw plenty of action too. David made organising the event incredibly easy and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again for another event. Thanks for a fantastic knees up!

Dave is a legend. I like the garden it has a cool slide, I’d probably break it though, will try in summer. Could do with a hammock. It’s funny when the band has a lot of members and the bass player gets hidden in the window so you can’t see them.

Great place. Visited for a private party but the beers were great and looks like it would be a great place for a gig. Decent beer garden too.
