Steve re-boarded and skimmed all the ceilings in my 2 bed house. Going from the old stippled artex to a modern smooth render made a huge difference to the whole house.Steve was very approachable, reliable, and professional. His work was excellent, efficient and very tidy. Can't speak highly enough, I will definitely get in touch when I need more work doing.

Steve has just completed the plastering of the hall, stairs and landing of our 1930's semi detached which were in desperate need of repair. He has done a fantastic job! He provides an excellent service. He is punctual, reliable, efficient, friendly and extremely hard working. He also leaves no mess. We would highly recommend Steve for any plastering work.

Steve,plaster skimmed three bedrooms and covered over outdated architrave ceilings in our house in Groby.He was brilliant his workmanship was professional and all work carried out was to an extremely high standard.He arrived on time each day and each evening cleaned up ready for the next day. I can honestly say we would highly recommend him and any plastering work in future we require then would not hesitate to have Steve carry out this for us.

Steve plastered our hall, stairs and landing and 2 ceilings. He was extremely professional, punctual and took great pride in his work- even the decorator commented on what an excellent job he's done! He's very down to earth and easy to chat to. He's definitely a perfectionist and we've asked him to come back and do another room for us! Would definitely recommend.

I would thoroughly recommend Steve Doughty for any plastering or tiling job. The work was done to the highest standard, and everywhere was left at least as clean and tidy as before he began the jobs. He clearly does every job as well as he would do it for his own home, and his long experience in the job shows through. Steve is also a very reliable and personable person and I will ask him back for any future jobs. It's great to find a really good tradesperson. I found his charges reasonable, too. Thank you, Steve, the rooms look great.

Steve did fantastic job plastering and skimming our kitchen ceiling and wall .The finished ceiling and wall looked very good . I was told it was a top quality work by other trades men who came to do the kitchen . He was very professional and responsive . I would highly recommend him .

Steve has just finished plastering our living room from top to bottom. He’s done a superb job. Punctual, reliable, and everywhere was left clean and tidy. Decaf coffee, drop of milk and one sugar will get you an even better service!
