Had a repair done with Solus via my insurance company. Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Did a great job in repairing. Kept me updated all the way. What makes them stand out from other places is the customer service. Every single person I spoke to was so polite and welcoming which was rather refreshing.

Collected our car nearly 3 months ago for a minor repair, then realised that they couldn't get the part! We have received our car back today with a temporary grille on it. It will have to go back when the part actually arrives in July and the car has got a lovely red dent and scuff mark on the passenger door. Thank you so much Solus for causing us more stress and inconvenience and for damaging our car even more whilst in your care. The replacement bumper has also not been fitted and aligned properly, so i would not recommend you to anyone. Awful service!

Solus did a brilliant job in repairing my car including coming to collect it, making it brand new and then delivering it back on a truck. They did an amazing job with the repairs, kept me aware at all stages via their app and even did a courtesy wash. Excellent communication and pleased with their over the top 5 star service. Thank you Solus esp my insurance Aviva for arranging everything.

Solus Wednesbury did a superb repair on my Toyota RAV4 in April. It was in a bad state having had paint stripper poured over every part of the body work.It came back to me yesterday 5th May in pristine condition.All through the process SOLUS were professional and kind.I highly recommend SOLUS thank them wholeheartedly for their overall performance.

Their service is excellent. They arrived to pick up my car for repair and left a courtesy car for me. They kept me informed of the repair process and their customer service is excellent, Claire answered all my queries efficiently and politely. I was informed the repairs were completed and when they intended to return my car. this was done on time and the courtesy car collected. I am very pleased with the quality of the repairs and the cleanliness of the car when it was returned. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Solus, Wednesbury.

My daughters car was returned with paint speckles all over the rear bumper. There was no painting to be done on the car, as it was only interior trim to be replaced. So we don't know where this came from. The trailer ramps were too steep for the car and long straight scores were left on the underside of the front valance. The other scores in photo are thanks to Sainsburys ramps.

Our experience of Solus in Wednesbury has been first class. My partner dealt with Simon(assessor) on the phone and couldn’t speak highly enough of him. We visited our car today, which unfortunately is a total loss, but Steve (assessor) talked us through the damage, explaining everything. We didn’t feel rushed and he was extremely helpful; both gents are a credit to Solus/Aviva. We also had a quick look at the repair area, which was not like you would expect….it was absolutely spotless, which demonstrates the level of care taken when undertaking the repairs.This experience will certainly keep us firmly with Aviva for future insurance.

I was a little dubious about using insurance approved repairers for my vehicle, costing over £60k when my vehicle was new a couple years ago I only wanted to use main Merc dealerships.Aviva explained how they work and I reluctantly agreed to have Solus do the work.All I can say is WOW.From the start the assessor who I spoke to who advised when the car would be collected from my address to the point of me having to pop by to have the bumper re aligned/adjusted by a technician (Darren) the level of service, communication and repair work carried out has been, well probably the best I've ever received in my 20 years of owning cars, it is certainly better than my local Merc dealership.The communication by the garage and its employees has been professional, the actual assessor I spoke to was flawless, he took so much time with me over the phone to explain their processes and how they would carry out the work and assured me along the way.The work that was carried out is perfect, no other words to describe it and then when I noticed the bumper needed a slight adjustment (around 1mm) I took it in and Darren got straight on it, he drove the car back round the front within 15 mins and explained everything and the processes Solus follow and the fact he is a Merc specialist, he took time to explain a few other things that other garages haven't put right, he had done this for me whilst he was working on my car, his enthusiasm for Merc and their cars was really refreshing to see.He gave me way more time than he needed to and for that I'm thankful.The paint job Solus have done is that good I asked them if they could undertake respraying my bonnet for me but they don't take on any private work which is a shame.Having used Solus now these guys are brilliant, especially the 2/3 people I have personally dealt with, they ooze professionalism, clearly are very knowledgeable and really understand customer service, something the UK is massively lacking in at the moment.Solus are the reason I'll be staying insured with Aviva now even if they do put their prices up.Thanks to the assessor that originally spoke to me and Darren who I just spoke to with regards to adjusting my bumper.Keep doing what you guys are doing as you are making a difference in a world customer service and workmanship is dying out.Merc E220D Estate

I got my car back from Solus Wednesbury on the 26/05/2021 whom are supposed to be a Mercedes approved repairer well how dissppointed i was with the replacement / repair finish to the n/s rear passenger door , rear bumper and sill cover moulding and the dirty state of the inside of my car which never was valeted and the damage caused refitting parts.I looked at the repair work and there were so many imperfections and poor repair finish all of which i mentioned to the driver and pointed out to him what was actually wrong with the repair work whom contacted Solus Wednesbury while still present at my home address explaining all the imperfections and badly fitted and damaged trim which he stated to me had been noted by the office while he was talking to yourselves but if i could also put it all down in writing it would help.I have for your convenience attached photos of what is wrong with the repair work of which i have below given a run down of for your attention.First of all the rear bumper with the boot lid open under the rubber seal running along the top of the bumper edge has jagged paint edges the same problem exists with the left side skirt sill moulding cover running along the top edge which you can see with both doors open.The n/s rear passenger door card has not been fitted correctly at all with a large gap all the way down to the point you can actually see the plastic trim plugs and also the door card along the edge has been damaged / marked.The n/s rear door has damage to it on the inside and the paintwork towards the bottom of the door card as well as the door card being damaged along with this the door is catching on something when you open it and there isn't a smooth pulling action as compared to all the other doors . The door handle itself is very stiff you can actually feel the door handle struggle to pull open almost feels like something is going to break. The n/s rear door when open on the right hand side of the door card on the actual door at the top and bottom has some sticky stuff what looks like glue of some sort.The rear seats and seatbelts are dirty covered with white powdery speckles all over them had car been cleaned in the first place then none of this would existed.I have attached 17 photos of all that i have raised above.
