Good supermarket for a quick shopping or a larger spree. Friendly and responsive team, quick to jump on tills if required. Stock on shelves varies from time to time, so you won't find everything, but you'll always find a bargain.

Not always the bargain you might think.Many food items are packaged in smaller units for sale in Home Bargains. Multi packs of crisps in packs of 5 when mainstream stores sell in pans of 6, making the individual packets more expensive at HB.Produce is generally cheaply sourced, poor quality and very poor value for money.Homeware products are generally very cheap, poor quality items, (a garden fork, sold for £5 broke the first time I used it).The only items that appear competitive are branded cleaning and personal hygiene products (deodorants, shower gels, etc).Beware, you really do get what you pay for at HB.
