Sidings Farm - B&B, Holiday Cottages & Shepherd Huts

Oh my goodness!! What an amazing experience!! We stayed in the March Shepherds Hut for two nights and had the opportunity to help out in the small holding which we both thoroughly enjoyed.Adam and the family are really welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable about the animals and wildlife in the area.The facilities are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. I would thoroughly recommend Sidings Farm to everyone...whether you have children or not. It's a fabulous place just to get away from everything and relax.Thank you Sidings Farm for such a memorable couple of days.

Sidings is one of the nicest places I have stayed. The shepherds hut was immaculate and warm with a comfortable bed. A little kitchen outside was a bonus. Lovely clean got shower five minutes up the path . Louis aged 12 spent two mornings with the farmer feeding sheep, goats , pigs , lambs and chickens. He was in awe of it all. Adam the farmer explained things well and my son learned so much from his experience here at Sidings. We had a barbeque using meat from the farmer. I cannot stress enough how beautiful it is here. Ely is not far away and the Cathedral is a must. I feel sure we will be back. I will be honest I am quite a fussy person but this exceeded my expectations. Book asap you will not be disappointed.

Lovely little farm, we stayed in the March Shepherds hut over the May bank holiday. When we arrived Adam gave us a tour of the farm and introduced us to the animals, you can get up early and help out - we chose to be lazy and lay in, but the option is there if you like. We had exclusive access to the hot tub which is only powered by a wooden furness, no electicity, we were really impressed by this as the water did get really hot. The day we left we were able to buy an array of eggs, which I have been grazing on this week- delicious! We recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away from the real world and go back to nature. Electricity is provided in the hut, although we really found no need for it.
