Fantastic place both sons live it and love it

I started attending Ultimate Taekwondo about 5 years ago moving from another club and quiet honestly it was one of the best things that i have done in years. The instructors are amazing and the teaching is of the highest standard. I would recommend this club to everyone whether absolute beginner of advanced athlete. The instructors at the club put their all into the teaching and every student is given the opportunity to grow and achieve. When i started at the club i was a green belt blue tag, but now i an a black belt 2nd dan hoping to grade for my 3rd dan later this year. I only achieved this due to the hard work and patients of each and every instructor at the club and i can't thank them enough for everything that they have done. I love attending Ultimate Taekwondo and can't imagine how life would be without it. I hope to be attending Ultimate Taekwondo for many, many years to come.

Excellent staff and training!

At 67, I am the oldest student at Ultimate and I cannot speak highly enough of the support I have received there over the years. I joined the club as an elderly and not particularly good 1st Dan Black Belt, but with Kathy’s help and encouragement I recently got my 4th Dan. There aren’t many clubs who would have developed me like that at my age. I love training with people of all ages as it keeps me on my toes and there is a real family feel to the club. My grandson, who is 60 years younger than me and lives in Northumberland, trains with Ultimate during school holidays and is making really good progress even though he isn’t here all the time. He absolutely loves Ultimate and really didn’t want to train anywhere else, but he needs to be training during term time. Kathy has now introduced him to one of her colleagues with an excellent club nearer to where he lives, so he is now training there during term time and with Ultimate during half terms and school holidays, but with his two instructors in contact over his training. You can’t ask for more individual care than that. Between us, we have been looked after in ways that go well beyond what I would expect, but that’s how Kathy and the club are.
