Lovely service, gorgeous rosé. Jack was a gem as a waiter and all the staff were very attentive. 10/10 would recommend

I was the led booker for a party of 10. I had submitted our orders well in advance, having previously paid a deposit for my group. The service wasn't terribly speedy, but the young guy serving us did seem to be on his own a lot. Three of my party had to cancel, One due to bereavement, One due to illness and the third had to admit her mother into hospital. I phoned at lunchtime to cancel those orders and explained the situation. When they bill was brought there was a £30 service charge and they wanted to charge us £20 each for the three party members who were unable to attend. I told her I wasn't prepared to pay the extra charges. The young woman was surly and practically sneered when I explained that not only had a deposit been paid, but that I'd also phoned through explaining the situation. She said she sympathised (she really didn't) but all the details about the costs were on the website, well I've looked and I couldn't find anything to that effect,. She told us she would get her GM, to which I said ,please do. He was also dismissive and just told her to take what we had worked the bill to. My friend wanted to give the young guy who had served us, Miss Surly said all tips were pooled, we weren't happy about that as he was the only one who had served us and when we found him, he was doing the washing up! We gave him his tip, which in fairness he had worked hard for. As for the rest of your staff, they do not reflect a welcoming atmosphere and were nothing short of rude and not at all understanding of the situation. We will certainly not be returning to The Plough and certainly won't be recommending it to friends and family to visit!

OK pub on Lordship Lane not far from Dulwich Park. Two cask beers - and 2 ciders - on handpump when I last visited. The beer I was drinking - Timothy Taylor's Landlord - was in less than perfect condition. Lots of outdoor seating most of it covered.A live band was playing in the early evening on the Saturday we visited.

I am gutted I never took photos! Came with my husband and two children. The price of the food vs what you get is absolutely shocking! £29 for a steak and it came with a handful of fries and rocket leaves. The children’s mash potatoes was 3 teaspoons of mash if you are lucky. The guy behind the bar had awful customer service. The lady on the floor running the food was lovely. She was the only good part about this experience. £90 for two adults and 2 children’s meals (one was a baby so had a veggie side dish)

Had a lovely experience in the Plough. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious and there was a jazz band in the background creating a lovely atmosphere. Great spot to go in be it just for a few pints or going for dinner.

Visited twice. First time was AMAZING!!! Food was delicious and service was good.Second time I visited and ordered the Christmas menu. NEVER AGAIN. Worst Xmas menu I've eaten and service wasn't great.Good1. Venue is nice2. Drinks were good3. Normal menu is very tastyNot very good1. Service - we had to get up several times for missing cutlery, ordering more drinks, had to look for staff. The staff were friendly when they were there, however we had to go out of our way to look for their whereabouts.2. Food on this occasion (Xmas menu) was very disappointing considering our previous experience ordering from the normal menu was so good. Turkey cold and dry, steak tough as old boots, potatoes were not roasted, just warm, pigs in blankets were dry and over cooked, sticky toffee pudding was overpowered with orange flavour. Most of the plates were returned still with food.3. There was a long wait between meals and when it arrived there was still long delays between the first and last plate.4. They didn't check the bill and charged us wrongly.

Really great Sunday roast. Service was super quick and friendly staff too. I would definitely recommend the pork roast it was very well cooked. The roast potatoes were slightly over cooked. Good all around though!

We had a lovely family meal out (afternoon lunch) for my sister's 33rd birthday. There were 5 of us total (four adults plus a 3 month year old baby). We all enjoyed our meals and the pub had a nice cozy atmosphere. The place is definitely family friendly, as we weren't the only ones there for lunch with a baby.

Lovely experience for our wedding anniversary! Very pleasant staff. Hadn't been since well before covid. Beautifully renovations, especially the garden! Shade if you like. or on the verandah. Good choice of food and drink. We'll go again!

I came across this nice-looking pub and decided to try it out.Atmosphere: Comfortable enough could do with some nice music and maybe some more soft lights.Customer service; The initial greeting by what looked like the manager was next to non existent. I was looking for a menu and it seemed as if I was inconviencing her by asking for one.Food: Burger was slightly dry but otherwise a standard meal. Nothing specialThe pie was quite overcooked which took the taste and enjoyment away. Otherwise, the mash was nice with the little onions. To make this meal nicer I'd have preferred the pie cooked properly than on the hinges of burnt.Cost: the meal was pricey but it was nice to sit inside out of the heat!Service from the barman was decent and chef/waiter was pleasant though. He even checked if we had sauce.
