Eastbourne Driving Test Centre

i past my test on the third try , the first two were with sandra, she was horrible , awful attitude , raising her voice , really arctic, kept sighing every 5 minutes, she made me feel so anxious, and i know she has done the same to many other drivers (normally boys) clearly doesn’t enjoy her job and takes it out on other people , she didn’t talk to me once and always gave me one word awnsers like i was bothering her, don’t know how she still has a job, then on my third go i went out with cris who was brilliant, totally different experience, was talking about me and college , was such a lovely bloke, and amazing at his job clearly, i’ve also heard that sandra has already been moved to eastbourne from somewhere else because off the amount of complaints so that says it all really

I personally think the examiners should also be the instructors. At least they can tell what exactly they are looking into during the exam. However, you think it's a risk if you take the chance to go, but they think it is a hesitation. Bloody frustrating. Especially it's so difficult to book a test now.

This is not the place to go if you have anxiety. I felt extremely patronised by my examiner who was short tempered and blunt, making passive aggressive remarks about my a level choices? And becoming snappy if I clarify his (vague) instructions. After failing my test here a year ago I had a fear of being on the road even as a passenger- a direct result of his treatment towards me. It took me a year to finally be comfortable in a car again and so I re took my test at a different test centre and had a completely different experience. Driving tests are scary but they shouldn’t make you scared of yourself. Unprofessional, hostile and not the type of person I’d want to be near again.

Have done my test here twice after horrible experience in Burgess Hill. Examiners were Paul and Sandra. Both were very fair, professional and (I think) uphold a very high standard to their examination. I greatly appreciated their feedback after being given my test results. Please do not make assumptions based on the reviews. Thank you to both examiners, for their trust and calm.

it was really rediculus. I obied every little UK driving rule and the exminer faild me because I was too careful(he said :))))).while driving a pedestrian came to street and I stoped for him, the examiner said you shouldn't stop coz you had the right.on round abouts he kept telling me why you don't go, while there were many cars at the round about which were not signalling.

Very professional, failed my first attempt but got it on the second try, its easy for people to write a negative review when they don't get the result they wanted but the truth is they fail you for a reason.Its their job to protect the people from dangerous drivers.

- 1 Star, My driving examiner was born in the early 1900s and decided he could barely breathe and decided to fail me because of other road users? I have never experienced discrimination on this level before in my life. Chris clearly disliked me when I saw him he gave me a little hello and did not talk to me for the rest of the test; honestly one of the worst experiences of my life.

Really respectful and friendly driving examiner. Pete I believe, he was calm and friendly, gave clear simple instructions and offered to repeat if I miss or needed extra help. Passed first time with 6 minors, after the test Pete told me my mistakes nicely and explained them to me. Very nice exam

Minus stars from me. I passed my test as this test centre today but the examiner I had was unnecessarily rude, infact she was extremely horrible. Not only did she speak to me like a child and ‘tell me off’ like a child for no fault of my own, she was also making extremely sarcastic comments to me during the test. As a learner driver we’re already on edge, we’re already nervous and we’re already under an immense amount of pressure to pass our test.She asked me to pull over on the left but as she had asked me to do so I had just gone past a space (it was too late to pull into that spot) so I carried on to find another suitable spot in which she said in a sarcastic manner “If you’re expecting to find a space as big as the one you just passed you’ll be lucky.’I am a confident person so it didn’t affect me too much thankfully and I still passed but totally uncalled for and I really hope this gets fed back so that other pupils don’t experience this disgusting behaviour.I do not recommend this test centre at all. For anyone wondering her name was Sandra. Minus stars from me.

After 2 cancelled tests I finally got to do it today. Passed 1st time! With 6 driving faults.My examiner, Clive was so friendly and really made me feel at ease, was clear with instructions and chatty which was lovely. I was incredibly nervous which showed through my driving faults but Clive was very fair with his feedback
