Universal Martial Arts

I started at this place a month ago now and I really enjoy it. The instructors were friendly and knew what they were doing and the exercises they use there actually help (compared to some other places.) There is: boxing for under and over 14's, kick boxing for under and over 14's street defence for over 14's and much more. My only problem is that the instructors have a wide range of students so sometimes they can push smaller ones too hard. They are allowed to rest though so it makes it a little better. Overall this place is great and I will be returning for more lessons.

I loved my time with this Gym! A friend and I started going to the Beginners Ladies and also Mixed Kickboxing Classes a few months ago and absolutely loved it! Stephen and Brogan are amazing instructors and they’ve created a safe space for beginners (especially women!) to have fun, work out and not feel silly! They’re great at correcting faults without making you feel embarrassed or shamed and are always full of cheesy jokes to make you laugh. I’ve only stopped going because I moved away but if I hadn’t, I would have continued to go 3 times a week and would have loved to do my belt test! I’ve recommended it to all of my friends and especially to female friends. I love that they offer Ladies Classes if you’re feeling self conscious at first- I was but after a few weeks was going to mixed as well!Thanks so much guys! You’ve fostered a real love of Kickboxing for me and I hope I can find a gym down south even half as good as yours!

I've tried a few martial arts schools over the years and this is definitely my favorite. Stephen keeps things fun and challenging. Would highly recommend trying it!

Fantastic!!! Suitable for everyone no matter your age or level of skill/fitness. Highly recommend this club to young and old. My Kids and I have been members for about 3 years. Brilliant new premises as well, spread over 2 floors.

Love it there, everyone is really welcoming and friendly and the instructor is great! Really homely vibe, I can see myself training there for a long time :)

Train here on a regular basis, excellent facilities and great wrestling lessons. Couldn't be any happier. Would award 6 out of 5 stars if I could

Never left a review before but i have to give here 5 stars. Just got in from the beginner muay thai class and it was great. Already looking forward to next time. The gym is a little hard to find though

Fab club, great instructor, friendly people, great way to keep fit, its a fun and dynamic sport, good for co-ordination, increases flexibility, balance and endurance. Also builds good self confidence, encourages team work, good for self defense, good for physical and mental wellbeing, for all age groups.... just give it a go! get in touch with stephen savage :)
