This wonderful Coptic monastery with its very welcoming host should be at the very top of yourpriority when it comes to your things to do when visiting Yorkshire.For Christians the stations of the cross is an extraordinarly powerful experience with the life size white marble stations recreating this most important of Christ stories.Right up there with the Lourdes.the journey will stay with you fo quite some time

Stumbled upon the monastery hidden away on the edge of Dalby Forest, near Scarborough, North Yorkshire. The monks invited us to join their Mass. A mystical and very moving experience.
