Regal Dry Cleaners and Laundry Services

Terrible, unprofessional ‘service’. Visit at your peril. I took my expensive goose down duvet in to be laundered - the guy told me it would cost £28 and assured me he’d take good care of it.I came to collect it 5 days later and he went to the back and came out with my duvet gathered up in his arms, holding it against his body. He then dumped it down on the front counter (ie dirty surface, touched by any number of customers and employees’ hands and belongings) on top of a calculator and pen / paper and started to fold it. I was so shocked and upset. He clearly had no grasp of basic hygiene principles and when I questioned what he was doing, he asked me / ‘aren’t you going to put a cover on it?’. He reluctantly said he’d clean it again then and told me it would be ready Monday. I was so upset I left the shop. I stood outside for a few minutes thinking and considered the likelihood he would clean it appropriately. It was Saturday evening, the shop is closed Sundays and he told me it would be ready Monday. He’d already told me items like these take a while due to the composition and size and clearly he didn’t know how to care for items he’s supposed to be cleaning, in a sanitary way so I went back in and said I’ll pay half the cost and take my duvet and have it cleaned elsewhere. At this point I was still distressed by the whole experience and just wanted to get my property. He went to get it and had just put it in a drier in a high heat! (I haven’t checked yet if this has damaged the item) ! ‘To kill any germs if you think there are some’. I said, so you weren’t going to wash it again, and he said no. He then put £20 into the credit card machine. I paid it and just got out of there. I am so angry at this unprofessional treatment and upset that I was too distressed and shocked at the time to think clearly; had I been more composed, I would have refused to pay anything. I will chalk this one up to experience and try and find a professional service that understands basic cleanliness!!! Hopefully this review will help others avoid similar experience.

One of my friend recommended me this shop and i am highly satisfied with their services as they made my 4 years old curtains fresh and clean without any damage. My curtains lining were looking so weak with sunlight n dump n i was thinking that lining must be damage but i was happy to see no damage at all.

Excellent service . Removed coffee stains from my jacket. Didn’t think they would come out but was told they would try their best . I was very happy with the results but the reason for writing this review isn’t just the cleaning— when I collected my jacket I was handed a £10 note which was found in my pocket before cleaning. I had no idea. Very honest of them and this was very appreciated

Honestly the best dry cleaners I have ever used. I brought in a pair of suit trousers with a massive ink explosion in expecting it to be a write off, and the gentleman managed to save it the day before I need them for a big set of meetings.

10/10 for this Cleaners, dropped my Paul&Shark wool cap in for a clean and was well impressed with the standard. Nice friendly chap who runs it too, will now be my go to laundry/tailoring service.

Excellent service, been coming here a while now to get my daughter's school uniform dry cleaned. Always done to high standard and available on to collect when agreed.Such a nice gentleman who does dry cleaning.Definitely my go to place for dry cleaning.

2 Suits put in on Tuesday for the following Monday, went to pick them up, not ready. Explanation given 'staff aren't being trained properly'. The assistant was rude offered no compromise, told me I was aggressive and when I asked for the suits back, (trousers done, jackets cleaned but not pressed) I was accused of mucking him about! I refused to pay for the jackets, the trousers came to £9 and when I went to pay by card he wouldn't accept it as they have a £10 minimum charge and told me to go to the cashpoint and get cash! I ended up paying the extra pound. I have never experienced such bad customer service and would never use this place again.

Immaculate service. Brought in a jacket with a huge burn hole in the upper arm and just picked it up and it took me 5 minutes to actually find the repair they had made. It was seamless, practically brand new when I thought previously it would be unrepairable. Service was prompt, staff friendly and attentive and service done at a very reasonable price. Couldn't recommend more, at the very least via the repair route!

Very professional and fast turnaround for large double duvet. Given a receipt for the item, and a date & time to collect. Item was ready well in time. Payment by cash or card. All round good service.

Excellent customer service.I am so pleased with the outcome of my Indian outfits being cleaned, they look brand new, as when I dropped they were covered with stains. Thank you for your quality and professional service. I would definitely recommend and will see you again in future.
