Kidzrus Private Day Nursery & Forest School

My son has been attending this nursery since he was two and I will be sad to say goodbye as he embarks on his next chapter in reception. He's an outdoor kid and loves the outdoorsy setting of forest nursery. The forest adventures, the fire pit and the chickens all add to his pre school experience. He's got great bonds with staff who are always caring, nurturing and enthusiastic about his progress.

What an outstanding nursery! Our little boy has attended here since being 11 months old and has come on so much in that time. Natalie and her staff are brilliant, their attention to detail and knowledge about the children is great. Our son very quickly formed bonds with the staff in his room which enabled him to settle quickly. The updates from the app are also very reassuring and show you how much fun they are having on a daily basis. Very happy with this choice of nursery!

Our son has had the most wonderful time at Swinton forest school over the last 2 years. All of the staff have gone above and beyond to care for him, he has grown into such a confident, outgoing and free little boy. Naomi and forest school staff have been amazing, following his interests and designing activities to support his learning. They've nurtured his emotional needs alongside bringing out his bubbly and inquisitive personality. As parents, we've felt supported and valued as members of the kidzrus community. We've loved the family sessions such as bonfire nights, Fathers/mothers day celebrations and christmas wreath making. Nat and her staff are always creatively thinking of ways to continue developing the provision for the children and their families. With regular forest play and learning fire skills and foraging , It has been the best start to our child's life beyond the family home, we are so grateful to you all and will miss coming to forest school so much!

Our girls love this Nursery the Staff & Management always go the extra mile to make the children and parents feel supported and well look after. We joined just after Covid and it was a huge transition for our youngest child and they really ensured that she was made to feel comfortable and she’s made excellent progress! We have now sent our youngest to the Nursery and we feel confident and reassured about the care she will be given. We can’t say enough good things about this Nursery please do check them out!

Such an amazing nursery! Staff work so hard and care for all our children. The nursery manager is clearly proud of the nursery and staff. There’s such a warm and welcoming feeling when you are in the nursery. The children are happy and well cared for. The meals are always excellent. We particularly like the app used to contact staff; it’s useful and staff always respond promptly and deal with any issues quickly. Best decision we made for our son xx

Switched my daughter over to forest school when I read about the benefits and I'm so glad I did. Best decision I've ever made. Her confidence and social skills have improved dramatically and she's like a completely different child! Would highly recommend. All the staff are great and I've never had any complaints

Amazing nursery. My daughter has had the best two and a half years there, learning how to forage and make dens. Naomi is an outstanding forest school leader. I chose this nursery because of the forest school and it was the best thing for my child's development. I wish she could stay there forever. All the staff are kind and caring and go the extra mile for children. They also run parent events so that you can feel connected, too.It is really well run by Natalie and Gemma and all of the team are hardworking and dedicated.

I love our nursery Forrest School in Swinton! Natalie is an amazing manager, her staff are fabulous! Very caring, very accommodating to your child and will go the extra mile. Great activities for our children and a huge piece of mind for parents when they have to go work. We look the activities they offer to engage parents early evenings and weekends too so we can engage with our children in nursery and with the staff building bonds.
