Old fashioned green grocer with much more variety than you’ll find even in a biggish supermarket. A bit more expensive but less pointless plastic packaging and ability to buy by weight. Good selection of Middle Eastern / North African groceries as well, including stuff which isn’t always easy to find like labneh, moghrabiyeh, molokhiya, makdous, pink pickled turnips and much more.

I spent £3.60 on a magic bag" from here on the "Too Good to Go" app. It was not too good to go!! When I got the bag home l realised almost everything had mould on it or was otherwise literally rotting. Disgusting."

Went there today to pick up vegs after work...1 red pepper, a pack of cherry tomatoes and 1 cucumber cost me £5.27. Never again!

Every time I go here I always see a huge collection of rubbish submerging out of their bins and spilling all over the floors and pathways below. From broken glass, mice everywhere all over the floors foxes making the situation worse. I just wish this place would do something about their bins and that contributes to the hygiene

I always liked this place because it's so close to my workplace and you can get fresh figs. However, I recently bought a magic bag worth £3.60 and when I got home and looked in it I discovered that so much of it was already mouldy. I had to throw the entire contents straight into my compost, apart from one small bag of sweet peppers. So I wouldn't advise purchasing a magic bag, and I can see from another review that someone had a similar experience. I think maybe if that is the feedback you are getting you shouldn't be doing them? Nonetheless, I do really appreciate having this so close to my workplace and being able to get fresh fruit and veg not packaged in loads of plastic. Most of the time it's pretty good.

Far from best quality fresh fruit and veg. Prices are extortionate, £1 for a wrinkled red pepper. I walked away, bought a nice fresh one for 80p in Licata.Annoying that the pavement width is reduced by half from all the boxes of produce displayed on the pavement.

A good quality local supermarket/convenience store with long opening hours. Always has great fresh vegetables at low prices plus a range of canned and dried goods. It’s nothing special to look at but has far better fresh produce than most places in the area.

Only giving one star for the friendly staff, would give zero if I could. Absolute rip off, how they constantly get away is selling mouldy vegetables at a premium price is a mystery. Avoid at all costs.

I too bought a Magic Bag through the Too Good To Go App from this store, unfortunately when I got home it was rather unpleasant to find out fruit and vegetables were off and mouldy.Of course I was not expecting the veggies and fruits in the magic bag to be completely fresh but nor was I expecting them to be off. I raised this with Too Good to Go and they issued me a refund.
