This has to get out there .. I never knew this shop existed. I had my first experience here today .110"23 .. I strolled in heavily tattooed shorts and a t shirt fit for only cleaning the car . Up the stairs I was greeted warmly pleasantly and a smile I had a brief chat it was then I seen what I wanted . I was passed on to keenan a firm handshake and introduction. This is where it goes up .He catered for my every need I did wonder off to look around but my attention went straight back to that suit . I tried it on and wow is this me. A shirt quickly followed . Every single need was attended with such detail care and consideration to what I needed not wanted ..I have to have an adjustment to it I pick it up next week . But on closing shops like this don't exist anymore or so I thought .. Mark you were always on hand and your detail shows through in how a true professional person you are .. what ever training you do for your staff don't change a dam thing you lead where only other outlets can simply stand back and admire. This will not be my last visit this you can be sure of .. this needs to go to the very top and I hope you appreciate how your team at Bristol conduct themselves in your name .. bravo gentleman bravo .. today you made me feel like a person .. not customer.."

Have bought a few suits here and have been very well pleased with the results no pressure to buy but help to buy the clothes you are looking for ,they get my vote

We went in to look for ties and pocket squares for our wedding and there was such a huge selection to choose from and all really good value. We found the ties we liked but they only had three in stock - the manager of the store spent the next week trying to source the three more we needed, which he managed to get for us. We really appreciated them going the extra mile.

Stunning service and value for money.I've used their Basingstoke branch before but I wasn't expecting the same level of service and diligence in another store. We went in to hire but quickly discovered that we could buy the full ensemble for around the same price. Alterations were all given to us for free. Absolutely outstanding service. The owners should be very proud of their staff. Highly, highly recommended

My Wife and Son's came to the store today to order some kilts for a wedding. They dealt with Cameron and found him to be extremely friendly and professional. They found the experience much less stressful than they anticipated it being with a 3 year old and a 1 year old. This was down to Cameron's fantastic customer service and approach. Thank you, made what could have been a stressful experience very enjoyable!

Outstanding formal-wear shop! Incredible variety of jackets, shirts, 3 piece suits, shoes and ties, all for impressivly affordable prices and with free alterations to all suits with just the most fantastic team inside. The atmosphere is calming and pleasant, and this is created to anhigher standard but the staff. Any problems, questions, or queries are met and answered with a smile.I recommend visiting here for any and all suit requirements

Was in a rush, but somehow still managed to come out with an affordable suit of fantastic quality. Staff were very helpful and efficient!

We had the worst shopping experience in this store. We bought a wedding suit for my partner, and they altered it using estimated measures (we asked 3 times if they need to measure how much to cut and they said no and we just assume they knew what they were doing). When we picked up the suit I mentioned it doesn't look ok because it was not measured in the first place - at that point they became super defensive and said they measure everything otherwise they wouldn't have it written down (measures where an estimate, as the sale assistant did not put a measuring tape on the body nor the pants). We didn't have a problem with this, but more with their attitude and the lack of an apology, they made us feel like liars when it was their mistake in the first place, they were unhelpful and arrogant and got that attitude like they were waiting for us to leave. Our wedding was in less than 2 weeks so we didn't have time (nor trust) to send it back for more alterations. The pants couldn't be worn as they were and we took them to a different tailor who identified several visible things making them look so odd (their assistants were trying to convince us that they didn't see a problem with the pants). The whole situation was just ridiculous, unprofessional and caused us a lot of distress.

Visited Slaters today with my son for a suit for my sons up coming wedding in July 2023 and I have to say they were not good, they were excellent, the assistant was beyond helpful with a wealth of knowledge. My son came away with the perfect choice of suit, shirt and shoes. Highly recommend this shop for all occasions. Thank you
