Receptionists, nurses and doctors are always friendly. Never an issue getting through on the phone. Fantastic surgery.

I'd love to thank Wivenhoe Surgery for helping me. I hate doctors and find it hard to trust them, but the team at Wivenhoe Surgery is doing an amazing job. I'm very grateful to them.

Our sons needed a medical note to renew a licence. The forms were taken there in July, after chasing them up on numerous times, each time being told ' we can't find the forms'. We finally had an email in September saying they couldn't be processed without payment! Why in heavens sake was this not mentioned before??!!The lack of communication and information within this doctors surgery is abysmal.fil We finally had a email advising

Ask the receptionist to sort a problem with a prescription it was sorted and received a text prescription ready that night

Absolutely disgusting service! Can never get an appointment! Ring up be on hold forever to be told all the appointments have gone!

Best of all the GP surgerys where I have been registered. I am diabetic so I need to visit the doctor's frequently. They are very proactive in helping you.

I have used the surgery for over ten years. I have always had urgent care needs addressed very quickly and the wait for routine appointments is not unreasonable. Staff are excellent, they treat me with kindness and respect, they always listen to me and remember conversations we have had before.It can sometimes take a few attempts to get through on the phone (mainly since the COVID-19 pandemic) but it is not usually a persistent problem. During the pandemic telephone consultations and email correspondence are always quickly responded to.Appointments usually run fairly well to schedule and the staff make time to listen to your needs and involve you in your own care.

My husband was supposed to have a phone appt today 27/6/22 with triage nurse for medication review he waited next to his phone but no call? So he phoned surgery and waited 30 mins to be answered and was told sorry you are the second patient the nurse has missed today? but would let her know and they would get back to him? They still haven’t bothered!It’s disgusting to treat patients like this.

I have been a patient at this surgery for about 2 years and have always been able to get an appointment (via phone or in practice) in reasonable timescales.The staff are very helpful and have been excellent during the pandemic.

Received such a wonderful service in a time of high stress, from speaking to a lovely receptionist to receiving a call back , to prompt prescription sent to pharmacy 10 out of 10. Many thanks
