Very nice society day at Mid Herts.Considering the time of year (16 Nov) and recent rain the course was in good condition.Reception was friendly and welcoming with a well stocked bar.Food was excellent, pie and mash, perfect after a damp round.

Course is in good condition, greens and approaches are excellent. Try not to go in the rough which needs to be cut as it just looks bad

Short course in lovely condition. Great greens and well kept overall. Tight through trees. Quite flat so not too taxing.

Superb experience today at Mid Herts! The course is in great condition considering the amount of rain recently and a special shout-out to Paul who was incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating! Looking forward to a return round soon.

A really lovely course. A very warm welcome on arrival and a detailed explanation of the course before we set out. Given the heavy rain the last few days and the fact most courses in the area were shut I was amazed at the quality of the course. The greens were brilliant and fairways too. It can feel like a quite compact course at times, some of the tee boxes are very close to the greens which require accurate approach shots as they are refreshingly petit. A thoroughly great course definitely worth seeking out if you are within an hour or so.

A great society venue, All the staff were friendly and helpful and thoroughly enjoyed the day. One small point is the crossover holes which can make it a little confusing finding some tees but a tiny problem which can be overlooked

Stunning condition - Club Championship is going to have almost perfect conditions in a couple of weeks. Only complaint would be the penal length of the rough, but kept out mostly, so no problems. Greens are faster than most I've played of late. It's good to see that the bunkers are raked more than once a day as is the problem elsewhere.Clubhouse is friendly and once the restrictions are lifted will be great.It was my first visit in more than 10 years and it was not a disappointment. Let's hope I'm back sooner than that next time!
