The comparison with Aladdin's cave is good but I would say is more Aladdin's Ebay. If you are looking to buy something cheap from Ebay, coming from China, you better pop in here first. From gardening, electronics, tools, rugs or plastic containers they have much more stuff here than you will find anywhere else. Definetly different from a high street shop which will make it a bit weird for many shoppers used with tidy shelfs or specialised products.

The store is packed with everything imaginable so it's very handy for household items . I have only left of one star because I think the welcoming atmosphere and customer service could be improved.

Prices seem to alter every time you go there very expensive place and they follow you round the shop as if you are going to steal things they peep at you round corners very untrustworthy place

Is the stock extensive? Yes, certainly. Would I recommend it? Absolutely not anymore, having just been verbally abused - with no provocation - by a shockingly rude member of staff, and then treated as though I was to blame for the altercation. He was so quick to anger I genuinely thought he was going to assault me as well. ‘Customer service’ is clearly a concept that ceases to exist at the entrance, to put it VERY lightly. Not only will I never be entering the premises again, I will tell this story to everyone I know in Royston to ensure they don’t have to go through the same thing. Places like this give independent retailers a bad name. An absolute disgrace.

If overpriced, substandard and poorly described merchandise is your thing then this is the place to go.

Useful shop for lots of items not so easy to buy in other shops. Not mega cheap but wide variety of useful hardware and other things. Take a look!

Nice little store has a very good selection of goods from saucepans to saucebottles from wool to window blinds screws to screwdrivers. Even rugs furniture toys .cant say staff are very friendly tho. The old boy looks like he s been chewingva wasp lol

I have been a regular customer for years and purchased two LED bulbs. Both failed within a week and I returned them. The owner refused to replace or refund as I couldn't produce a receipt. He is the only shop that sells the brand I purchased. Like most people I don't keep all receipts.He became abusive and said that he did not care that I was upset or that I felt like not continuing to be a customer.
