Had good poisoning after Sunday Lunch last weekend. Never again. Staff are nice n polite but as 4 quality food. Never again. Brussels were not cooked or presented properly. Carrots were hard nearly caused dental damage. Mash was over done. Presentation of food not hygienic in my eyes. N I don't usually moan. But have say it as I see it now

Called in today for a carvery. It was very busy, being Sunday lunchtime, but every team member was polite, cheerful, proactive and friendly. We got a table quickly to say we hadn't booked, the guy serving us drinks was pleasant, and the person serving the meats at the carvery was calm, efficient and greeted every customer. Always think that must be a tricky job working under that heat but a colleague of his stepped seamlessly in to work with him and it was like a well-oiled machine! Someone visited our table to check we had all we needed. Also one of the tastiest carveries we've had in ages. My husband commented he thought the Yorkshire puddings were perfect and the veg wasn't over-cooked and mushy. Great, friendly staff, great service and a great lunch. Thank you!

Really tasty meals.I had the best scampi, chips and mushy peas and my husband really enjoyed his katsu curry. Very good value for money.Enjoyed the whole experience. Staff were friendly.

Amongst the carvery sector type of food offering I found this one of the better ones.The food was well cooked by not being overcooked(my pet hate).A good place to go for a Sunday lunch.

Been today for the first time - I had a large carvery (chose beef) the food tasted amazing and the beef was cooked to perfection, my husband had steak, chicken and cheese fondue - the steak was cooked as he liked, the chicken strips were tasty and would definitely come back! Would recommend this pub!.

Great friendly and fast service, comfortable pub/ restaurant atmosphere.Sunday Carvery is top knoch with really quality selection of meats, vegetables and lovely onion gravy! I've knocked off one star on my food score just as I personally wish the vegetables where cooked a little longer but that's absolutely preference.

Came with my work friends, they had burger which looked mediocre. I ordered a portion of haloumi fries and was disappointed. For 4.50 I've got 5 fries on a plate. At first though it was mistake and it was kids meal and it wasn't. Feels like a rip off compared to others having a salad bar and burger with quadruple as much of fries on a plate for 8 quid. Felt quite upset and didn't eat. When left my clothes were smelling like I was working in kitchen. Will never go there again.

Went for the carvery very nice it was to. Had the turkey, beef and gammon were also available. Pigs in blankets were extra. Had the large carvery but the medium would have been plenty. The place wasn't heaving it was nice to have a good meal and not be overcrowded, quite enjoyed it.

Met here for breakfast with the car club good food Great staff. Make sure you enter you registration or you will get a ticket. This is not a pub car park
