The tea rooms are a godsend for walkers attempting the popular (and very easy) trail across Machrie Moor to see the stone circles and famous standing stones. The walk is clearly signposted from the road, busses stop here, and there is a car park. When you are done, return to the road and turn RIGHT. The Machrie Bay tea rooms are a ten minute walk, and wonderfully large cappuccinos and treats await with great views across the bay. We received a very warm welcome from the staff, and Shelley very kindly gave us a lift to Brodick when it transpired we had missed the bus and there wasn't another one for two hours (!) - do check the timetable before you set off, as busses are not very frequent in this part of Arran.

The tea room offers some nice things but it's not always well priced. I can't comment on the golf course as I don't play but others seemed to be enjoying it. The views are stunning

Spacious village café serving coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and lovely homemade cakes and soup for reasonable prices. Friendly staff.

This place was recommended as having good home baking, the fruit squares we got were disgusting, one had been trimed round the edges so all broke up, sent one back and got something else, the other was edible just, would certainly not recommend this place.

Rightfully famed amongst regular visitors to the island - excellent cake (and generally a GF option is available) and a decent looking breakfast and lunch menu as well.Dogs allowed outside only.Be aware that dusk" mostly appears to be "by about 4.45pm" for closing and don't go too late of you risk being huckled out the door."

Machrie tearoom is such a little gem looking out over to the mull of kintyre and kilbrannan sound. Very friendly staff and amazing cake.

Ideal pit stop on an island tour with fresh, homemade cakes and sandwiches. Clean and well looked after. Great sea views from the outside deck.

Im coeliac so sometimes find it difficult to get lunch/dinner. Their cream of mushroom soup was delicious and carrot cake yummy. More choices would be terrific. There is plenty that could be offered wnd would take minutes to prepare at short notice. Staff were friendly and the place was clean.I will go back.
