So myself and my wife brought our dog specifically to the area to come to the dog cafe’s and this was by far the best one. The service was exemplary, the gentleman serving even remade my coffee as he didn’t feel it was up to standard and when another couple came in close to closing they welcomed them with open arms. Top place and great people!!

This is such a lovely place to get coffee and cake or something more substantial with or without your dog! However, I don't think your four-legged friend would forgive you for not taking him for a pupcake or doggy ice cream.

We had a really lovely experience taking our puppy here the other week, the staff were really friendly and wanted to talk to us about our dog.The food and drink were really good there and quite a reasonable price too. Nice seating if you want to sit down and relax for a while.

Visited with my girlfriend on the morning of 17/6/23. Our dog was having her teeth attended to at the Dog Spa next door so this was ideal. Dogs are welcome on the outside seating as well as indoors.Chocolate cappuccinoCroissantTeaPigs Mint TeaCoffee & Walnut cakePolite & warm welcome upon entry. Classy interior with wood tables, a sofa, art & charging sockets. There is a chilled bottles/cans shelf immediately on entry followed by a large selection of dog treats.The hot drinks & small snacks were delicious. Hot paninis & milkshakes are on offer but didn't have any so I cannot comment.Located very close to Thorpe Bay Station on a suburban side street with a nice green space nearby for takeaway orders. A rare treat but a very worthwhile visit.

Excellent cafe to take your dog, or don’t take a dog. Either way the staff are so friendly and helpful. The food is nice, the selection of dog treats is great too. There are also loads of nice cakes and loads of drink choices for humans! Good coffee too! Thanks so much

I visited this cafe a couple of years ago with my pooches and friends and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The staff are still super friendly, however I was very disappointed with the food, my panani was tastless and the cake was stale which is a real shame as I was expecting better standards.Also the chap serving behind the counter was sneezing, then serving food without washing his hands!Come on gang, get your act together as this place could do so much better!

We walked in for drinks Friday morning, a great friendly service. My coffee was good, hot and nicely presented. My daughter chose a milkshake which we both felt was one of the best tasting milkshakes we have had in Southend.The cafe had a nice feel to it, like taking your dog to Suffolk for a day there made to feel welcome, bowls of water and food options for your companion too.Overall a lovely experience will definitely return.

Absolutely amazing morning at The Dog Cafe. Decor and atmosphere are beautiful. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. It was very pleasant and comfortable to sit in with the doggie and enjoy treats for all.
