Roman Pound Plus LTD

I had a fantastic experience with repairing my phone here.The charging port on my phone wasn't working - I couldn't charge it, and I needed it repaired. I was only in the area for a day, and really needed to charge my phone.The first place I went to said it would cost £60 and would take 2 days.This place, the Roman Pound Plus, was a real gem - He repaired my phone for £40 pounds, and did it in under 2 hours! The port was fully replaced, and works perfectly.Added bonus: The shopkeeper/repairman manning the till said he'd prefer cash, so he handed me my (now repaired) phone, and told me where a nearby ATM was - I could've easily just taken off with my phone and we'd never see each other again. I didn't, of course, but I was touched by his trust in a stranger, and I think it speaks volumes of his character.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!very unprofessional and did not carry out the works they had charged for, would not trust this shop with any further repairs

Took my laptop in on 13/11/22, was quoted £80 to fix as my laptop would not power on. Came 2 days later to collect, was told it was still not ready and would now cost £115. Finally collected, was told it was fixed perfectly and shown it powering on. He failed to mention it only works when on charge. I called the next day to ask why this was the issue, only to be shouted at and told that he 'had fixed it' as he was 'never asked to make it work fully'. I have since taken it to a new shop, who have told me its unlikely Pound Plus even opened my laptop let alone do any repairs. They are refusing to give me any of my money back. Avoid at all costs.
