A very civilised hotel with high standards in an excellent location. Always a pleasure to stay here. Louise is a very friendly and hospitable manager, and the front desk staff are very welcoming and helpful. Many thanks for all your hospitality. From Tristan.

We really enjoyed our room & stay at this hotel. The first room was small but Louise found us a perfect room with high ceilings. We appreciated they acknowledged our Titanium membership that we work hard to maintain. We couldn't have been happier until...we received a ticket (commiserate w/one nights lodging) for leaving the car in front while we went to get our luggage early Sunday morning. We were gone 10 minutes and incurred a hefty fine. Since you have to park off site (blocks away) in a public parking lot the hotel should make available a place to load & unload without incurring a fine. We wrote to contest the ticket & Mr. M. Smith stated Your vehicle was seen parked in a Loading Bay". They are intent on raising revenue for Oxfordshire County Council at the expense of the unsuspecting tourist who reads the sign as written."

We booked this hotel for a short weekend getaway in Oxford. The staff were very welcoming and the check-in process was a breeze. They even gave us welcome cookies which were very delicious.Do not expect very amazing views from the hotel room but the proximity to every point of interest in the city makes this courtyard the perfect stay for your vacation.Do definitely try out the rooftop terrace where you can have your food and take in the views of the city.

It's the only chain hotel in Oxford. Ridiculously priced for what it is, but there's not that many options in the area. It's decently close to the train station and has good service. The restaurant there is nothing special - it feels like plated TV dinners.I hate when I get placed in the extension on the first floor - the hallway lights are motion sensor activated, so usually off when I'm coming back or leaving, plus it gets cold in the winter and takes an extra couple of minutes to navigate my way out of in the mornings.Overall though, I like staying here over the other places I've tried.

Rooms and location are good. Front desk staff did not send me an electronic receipt even though they told me that they did; I needed to call long-distance to request the receipt since there's no email address on the website. Then I found out they wrongly charged me for breakfast (even though they told me at the desk that they had removed those charges), so I had to call back again. Don't lie to your customers. Also the hotel does not have a fitness center, which is odd for a Marriott property.

This hotel never disappoints. It is a modern, clean, and friendly option right in the heart of Oxford’s city centre. I especially appreciate the excellent service provided by the staff. I have stayed over 30 nights in the past two years, and each time have found the staff to be attentive, knowledgeable, and always eager to serve to a high standard. Well done, Courtyard City Centre.

Small hotel, covenient to National Rail and to the town (city) center. Quiet, modern, heating that worked perfectly, very good (small) bathroom/shower, fine view from my room of the Castle Mill Stream, Tower and Mound. The location is a quiet corner of Oxford, just a few steps away from the crowds and traffic of the town center.I did need or use any services, except for checkin/checkout, which were effortless.
