Watermead Park Woodland Habitat

Back at the park with my friends the birds they are beautiful and its a privilege to be so near to them. The elderberry flowers are read if you fancy making champagne.

Great place for walks with family and dogs even better in the summer time.

One of the biggest parks in Leicester. Several lakes, plenty of green and wild life including an abundance of beautiful swans. A wonderful place for long walks, cycling, sailing, kayaking, open water swimming or just relaxing.The park is a short and pleasant ride from the centre of the city through a couple of smaller parks.

Well maintained park with lots to do. There's a walk and cycle path, a designated BBQ area and loads of wildlife to be seen.

Not been here for years so was looking forward to a wander around the lakes, well the amount of dog mess on the paths is disgusting!!! and parts of the pathway and lake look abandoned and neglected. You pay to park and the money is meant to help with the upkeep?????? Is it only certain areas of this place that are maintained? Plus it should be a dogs on leads at all times policy as too many ignorant owners let their dogs run around and approach our dog not knowing if they are friendly or if even our dog is!!!!! Heard about so many incidents that have happened. This could be a beautiful place again if people just took the time to care and pick up after their dogs!!!!!!!
