Brookspeed Porsche and Performance

I bought a set of wheels for my Cayman from Brookspeed and couldn't have been more impressed by their helpfulness, friendliness, and service.As I am in Glasgow, they couldn't be much further away, and there were some initial hiccups at my end with arranging delivery and suitable packaging, but Roz in reception was so enthusiastic, patient and helpful in getting it sorted and maintained great communication throughout the transaction.The wheels came with tyres that were advertised as being 5mm+ all over, but I've measured them at a minimum of 6mm on the inner edge and the rest at 7mm, so I think this honesty/underselling/transparency demonstrates that they certainly aren't looking to rip anyone off.There were some spots of paint bubbling on two of the wheels, but having negotiated a fair price, and with the extra life in the tyres, I am still very satisfied with my purchase and experience.If I lived closer, I wouldn't hesitate to have them maintain my car.Thanks again!

A Big thank you to Antony and his team at Brookspeed Eastleigh. A cylinder had blown on my Porsche Boxster 986 and another engine was required. Antony invested a considerable amount of his time and patience guiding me through the procedure acquiring a replacement engine and what l thought would be a stressful time turned out to be fairly smooth running. Tom a great guy and mechanic talked me through each stage while working on the replacement of the engine, 5***** Tom. Fantastic setup for sales and service of all Porsches, new and vintage, with a variety of examples from the Boxster S up to a GT3 RS in the showroom today - as well as a Ferrari, an Aston DB9 and a couple of McLarens.First visit today, and have booked in for services and modifications a couple of weeks from now, so will Review again soon.

Update: Went for a service, paid an extra £80 to fix my leaky ac, it didn't fix it and they won't respond to my calls / emails to sort it. I also asked for an amended quote for some advisories they stopped responding to. They were good until now they've clearly stopped wanting work.2 stars since they seemed good in the past.Old 5 stars:Many thanks to the great customer service received from Steve the workshop lead and Simon the GM.Fully recommend Brookspeed as a top quality business, run by good people who care about their customers.

Wow. What a day. Came down to continue the hunt for a new car and worth the long journey. Really hospitable people. Simon and Ian showed me round their well sorted operation which includes a showroom, servicing and MOT bays. Really made to feel at home and comfortable as I asked hundreds of questions and inspected several cars. Would definitely recommend anyone looking for a new car or to maintain their current car to give these guys a shout.

I bought a Porsche 993 from Brookspeed and received top notch service from the moment I walked in until the car left the premises. Simon and his team could not have been more helpful. They were transparent and honest at pre purchase negotiations, answering my questions while putting right any issues of concern. Once the deal was done the Brookspeed care did not stop there. As I was exporting the car to New Zealand after a months use, I took it back to Brookspeed and left it in their care for an additional service, clean and delivery to the docks. Due to shipping delays Simon took it on himself to coordinate directly with the shipping agent to make sure the car was safe and not delivered to the docks too early, while communicating with me in NZ. That in itself shows commitment to great service. I could not have been happier with my experience and dealings with Brookspeed. If I ever buy another car from the UK, Simon and Brookspeed will be my first call.

Great place for Porsche owners to have the cars serviced or repaired. The selection of cars to view and/or purchase offers a great selection. Plus the racing side offers the opportunity to see these cars too. The staff are all helpful and friendly on this large site so parking is also easy. Granddaughter loves to accompany us when we go here as she is a Porsche fan :-)
