Bought a shirt without trying it on, got it home and noticed it had water marks on the shoulder. Tried to return to store to exchange for the same shirt, but was refused by the manager as they claim I should have checked it before I bought it, and they don’t display faulty stock so I must have caused it when I got it home. Disappointing as the stain was hard to see in their store lighting with natural light.Make sure you check everything before buying, as they clearly don’t care for customer satisfaction.

Huge choice for women. Lots of nice fabrics and colours at mostly reasonable prices. The changing rooms are fabulous, spacious with lots of cubicles with full length mirrors that allow you to see how you look from the front and back. Not all have a bench or stool to sit on. Outside the cubicles is a large, well lit area with a mirror wall at one end so you can strut your runway stuff and really see if the outfit is perfect. Up and down escalators provide access to the upper floor where ladies' foundation garments, swimwear, accessories and the changing rooms can be found along with children's clothing. A nice clothes shopping experience I hope to repeat.

Purchased a jumper from zara and the price tag said £22.99. Paid for it and then came home and looked at my receipt and I had been charged £35.99 for the jumper. I went back the next day and they said they could do nothing about it. They are selling clothes on a completely different price than u end up paying for them...and they I didn't even get told the total amount at checkout...... absolute scam would not recommend. The service was docile. Incredibly rude manager" who did nothing to assist their fault."

Extremely stressful. Tried on several attempts to exchange clothes for a smaller size, first time told I need email of purchase for receipt, got that then returned a week later to be told I need email with QR code which I never got. Really unhelpful staff especially when I asked what store I could exchange from if I couldn’t get in York store

I can't pass a Zara without popping in.I've had some fabulous clothes from there over the years but nothing this visit sadly.

I live locally and love Zara! However after been in the store very recently I found it to be absolutely boiling hot,so unbearable I cannot be in the store for more than 10 mins,it's just ridiculous! also a rack of lights not working on the right hand side of the store going up the esculator to first floor,a few weeks ago it was the 'up esculator out of action for weeks at a time

Avoid. V poor customer service, assistant made the whole experience really stressful. I was returning 6 items in an online return and had let two people go in front as the queue was massive. The assistant was so grumpy and aggressive she almost knocked my phone off the counter asking why I brought them back in the box…that is for Royal Mail?!! Seriously just avoid.

Worst experience ever at Zara store. Rude Spanish blonde/brown hair manager was racist and rude to myself and my sister who had travelled 2 hours. Were informed via phone and messages we could return items and the manager with no reason other than being jealous and rude refused returns. Shocking service she then lied and said she had a meeting so she didn’t have to do the returns after seeing the evidence of it been allowed. Very rude and 0 manner. Will never return and will stick to my Manchester store. 0* Till number: 91153 Store visit date 14th July 1.30 pm
