We had afternoon tea here and will definitely revisit. The service was excellent, with a great selection of homemade cakes and scones.

Swan House Tea Room
I can't fault our stay at the Swan House B&B. From start to finish, Martin went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and we felt right at home. The room was modern and spotless, parking was easy, and breakfast the following day was delicious.The area is beautiful as well, and I only wish we could have stayed longer to explore.We will absolutely be back, and I can't recommend a visit to the tea rooms or B&B enough. Thank you Martin and everyone else at the Swan House for such a lovely weekend break.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Swan House Tea Room! The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the afternoon tea was delicious - we especially enjoyed the feta and red pepper scone! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tea room to others.

Swan House Tea Room
Our first visit to Lydney and hopefully not our last. A wonderful welcome by Martin - our accommodation on the ground floor it was immaculate and so comfortable it was like sleeping on a cloud! It’s a really quiet area. Breakfast was delicious and so much to choose from and beautifully cooked. Thank you Team Swan House!

I arranged a baby shower for my sister in law and the ladies were so accommodating and welcoming. We had 3 which needed to be gluten and dairy free which more often than not can’t be catered for especially for afternoon tea. However it was no problem at all, and all 20 of us were able to enjoy a lovely afternoon celebrating our impending arrival! Very welcoming hosts, lovely rooms, well appointed and very comfortable. Great breakfast, would have liked to stay for afternoon tea. Located opposite the bus stop which takes you close to the start point of Offas Dyke. Would definitely recommend.We we’re a group of 4 people.

We had a three night stay to explore the Forest of Dean & Wye valley. The location was ideal for this. The breakfast was cooked fresh every morning by Martin the owner & it was very good. Our room was very clean & comfortable & we would stay there again.

Have popped in for breakfast several times, always excellent. A new pergola has just been built on the patio area which will be good for people who come there with dogs, as I did today. owner showed me some of the work he had been doing on a new room in the hotel and it looked very nice.

My partner and I were looking for a safe space to enjoy some well earned R&R. Safe to say, we found exactly what we needed at the Swan House Tea Room... Some Peace & Harmony. We were able to enjoy cooking a delightful meal together in the self contained apartment and had a very restful and comfortable evening. The breakfast, served with care and attention by the wonderful hosts, was absolutely delicious and the choices were plenty for even the most fussy eaters. Thank you Swan House for providing us with a truly memorable trip away from the everyday.

Great friendly people.Loved the breakfast.Really nice clean rooms.Lots of TV options.Recommended rooms.Beautifully renovated from the old pub.Will likely be staying here again at some point.
