I confidently recommend Fanthorpes HiFi for the purchase of audio gear. Every audiophile knows that we are looking for something in the sound and our systems that we have imagined in our brains and try to find in the hardware. It takes a tremendous amount of patience, experience and diligence on the part of sellers to meet our needs.In my case I have been in contact with Marc, Andy and Matty, each of them have done more than I could have expected and than I had previously encountered in other stores. I had a complicated delivery and they provided secure packaging for the speakers.I had never been in the store, everything was discussed over the phone and by email, yet the speakers arrived in excellent condition, exactly as described and matched my system perfectly.Highly recommend!

I treated myself to a pair of speakers, dealing with Fanshaws was an excellent experience and can recommend them. I will no doubt be contacting them again when I do further upgrades!

I first used Fanthorpes about 3 years ago when I wanted to change my CD player. I spoke to Marc via phone. Since then I bought a pair of PMC speakers. These were delivered to me & set up by Steve (who really knows his stuff). Just very recently I bought new pre & power amps. Again, spoke to Marc. He is very knowledgeable & professional. Again Steve drove many miles to my house & spent several hours setting up the new amps. Unlike some companies who lose interest after they have got their money, Fanthorpes are only happy if their customer is completely satisfied with their purchase. I am extremely happy with the outstanding service given by Fanthorpes & delighted with the hi-fi I purchased. I will not use anyone else. Simply a superb hi end dealer with outstanding service.

I bought over the phone, but Marc was able to answer all my questions & kept me in the loop. Steve hand delivered them 3+ hrs away, and was also very nice & extremely knowledgeable.Excellent service, would go back if I needed anything else. Thanks.

Purchased from Fanthorpes number of times. Their trade in deals are fairly reasonable. Staff are efficient and pleasant, still haven't experienced a rude one.Keep up the good work guys!!

What can I say, I have been dealing with Fanthorpes for over 25 years, and the knowledge and service just gets better and better. Just had a home fitting of some equipment, Steve was exceptional and Dave and the whole team are extremely knowledgable. If you want a great experience, use these guys. The best in the business.

Wonderful service from Marc and Steve.From my initial enquiry through to delivery and installation and trade in, this was a super service I'd recommend to anyone - even though I lived a nearly 6 hour journey away. Please use independant smaller dealers like this to keep this level of service alive and well! I will certainly return to Fanthorpes once my bank balance recovers and my wife allows me to spend again!If you are considering Elysian 3's, just do it! :)

I say enough about the excellent service from Marc and Steve. They travelled across the country to demo some equipment staying over to set it up and patiently allowing me to listen thoroughly before making up my mind. If you want quality hi-fi this is the only place to go. It's been there for a long, long time which proves there's always a place for quality. It does however come at a price after all you do only get what you pay for
