Didn't stay at the hotel but went with my friend for lunch on a glorious sunny Sunday - had an incredible meat sharing platter to start and mains of chicory blue cheese salad and pan seared cod.Really tasty and generous portions - the front of house chap was super helpful and friendly. Garden out back is beautiful - really enjoyed it!

What a shame, beautiful setting terrible service. Asked for condiments twice, never arrived. Steak was rare, but no one came to see if food was ok? I'm not sure they have a desert menu as no one was about to ask and we were not offered. It appears to be a popular place, but I won't bother again.

We went here after the local Italian restaurant owner was not welcoming. The food is a tad pricy but once served realised it was well prepared and good quality. Service was great also. Was not staying so no rating on room.

Excellent accommodation. Lovely staff. Breakfast and evening meals freshly cooked. Great location and deco inside and outside. Restaurant very nice

Stopped by for Sunday dinner and it was really good. We had the whole roast chicken for two and it was really good and unique. We would've liked a bit more vegetables to go with it but for the amount of chicken you got we cannot really complain. Very cute inside and the fire on meant it was lovely and warm. Would definitely recommend :)

It was Christmas celebration with my colllegues.We had great time in this place.We were in a beautiful room where everything was decorated for celebration.The food was delicios and evsn though I had three courses I was not very fool.

Pretty hotel, very conveniently located in the centre of the village. The twin room (number 9) was really aesthetic with comfy beds and recently renovated bathroom. A drawback was that the windows had transparent curtains, which meant waking up very early in the morning due to the light. A choice of hot breakfast was included, in addition to bread and jam, cereals etc. Everything was excellent in taste and quality. Friendly and helpful staff too.

Popped in for a lunchtime tipple, and then added lunch to this, too.Nice place with friendly staff. A shame one of the beers and the only (as far as I could see anyway) cider was out, but still a good range of beverages available.Good was very good, with a tasty steak and fish & chips being heartily consumed. Very reasonable prices too.If you are this way, I can recommend popping in for a drink, something to eat, or both!

First stay and overall very impressed. Staff friendly and food excellent. The rooms are basic but the wet room was clean and modern. Good value too! Highly recommend for the price.
