Just had an email from Mortons Media telling me that their server was hacked and my bank account, sort code and account name have been leaked to hackers. To add insult to injury this happened 6 months ago and they've only just gotten around to notifying me.Email pushed out after their office closed for day, zero offer of support on what appears to be a leak of unencrypted data.So now its costing me £15/month for Experian to keep an eye on my credit score.AVOID THIS FIRM AT ALL COSTS

Contacted me today, 10th May, to say they'd been hacked and my banks details had been stolen. This apparently happened in Oct 2022. Zero contact in the 7 months they knew about this. Only contacted me today after they'd taken my subscription.This email was also sent after the office had closed. Not sure who's the more dishonest. The hackers or Mortons.Avoid this company at all costs. If your already a subscriber I'd advise cancelling and contacting your bank to inform them you've used a company who's customers bank details have been stolen..

Received an email stating their database had been hacked and my data stolen. No sorry or we are putting things in place for you, just deal with it yourself, basically. Solicitors contacted to get reimbursement for the hassle, stress and time of sorting it out.

I have just received an email from Morton's regarding a data breach of my account that happened in October last year where my name, bank sort and account number were 'stolen'.I am concerned that it has taken 7 months to inform me that this incident has accured. Why didn't they inform all subscribers that this had happened so that action could have been taken quicker.Very disappointed in the lack of communication on this matter. I have 3 subscriptions with them and will look to cancel them. I now have 7 months of bank statements to look through and check.I will also have to check my account everyday for suspicious activity until who knows when.

I am very disappointed with the customer service, communication and delivery. I placed an order for a year-long subscription for “Classic Motorcycle Mechanics” and a Bookazine at the end of November 2020 as a Christmas present for my husband. Payment was taken from my credit card on November 27th and we have yet to receive the first issue. Only after writing to complain in January did we receive the Bookazine. “Covid chaos” was the excuse given for non-delivery. Strange since all other on-line orders I have placed do not process payment until the order has shipped. I have received no response to my second email sent February 16th. We live in Canada and my husband has been an avid reader and collector of your “Classic Motorcycle Mechanics” since 1995. Mistakes happen to all of us but they need to be acknowledged and rectified, especially in order to retain customers and keep them happy! Anxiously waiting for proper follow-up.
