Tapi Carpets & Floors

We bought some carpets in the sale through Adrian at Tapi a few months ago, the service was professional and helpful. We had to rearrange our fitting due to issues with the house, and despite having a super full fitting diary, they were able to move some things around and accommodate our new schedule over the course of a few weeks. Recommended for quality carpets and good customer service.

I am currently looking for new carpet for my living room and the staff at tapi plymouth were so welcoming and really helpful. Will definately return. Top marks!!

Awful company to deal with.Wow , where to start ...Ordered a carpet from this store , first of all I gave the sales guy Dean the measurements of the space I needed carpet to which he ordered to much which obviously cost more money.He told me the carpet would take 3 weeks to arrive which I accepted at the time.3 days later I changed my mind as I consulted an independent carpet fitted who said he could get me the same quality carpet in a couple days and fit it for cheaper than what I paid for the carpet alone at Tapi .So I went back to the store and asked for a refund as thier is a 14 day cooling off and refund policy as with most big companies.The sales guys in store made a big fuss saying the carpet is in store and has already been cut which was odd as they said it would take 3 weeks not 3 days and they hadn't informed me the carpet had arrived . I wanted to proceed with the refund thinking it shouldn't be a problem, they said they would consult head office and get back to me . The manager rang me later on that day stating that they can do the refund though they are taking 25% of the money I paid them for cancelling the order. They didn't explain this to me when I ordered the carpet . So I'm warning you all now . First of all would advise you to avoid dealing with Tapi carpets as they are evidently very dodgy and secondly as I found out the hard way they are very expensive and would strongly advise consulting an independent carpet fitter which I should have first as they can source your carpet straight from the factory at a much cheaper price . In my whole life I have never dealt with such a careless unprofessional company. And will be happy consulting trading standards concerning thier actions.

Purchased carpet last month. Fitting yesterday. Staff in store excellent and fitters were very helpful on day of fitting. 10/10

Disgusting and shocking service. This company is a joke.I ordered a carpet from Tapi in July, fitting date arranged September 1st. Received a call the night before 1st to be told the carpet is not ready.Our furniture piled up and no room for children due to unusable space was a nightmare to live with for another few weeks but I trusted them and agreed to a delayed fitting date. I was gutted. Nobody seemed to care to call us for further details; we were left with no customer care and after chasing them several times, they gave me assurance that everything could be sorted and that could have the carpet fitted on 23rd September. Despite the promises - we have been 100% told today that it is not happening again.They say I have to now wait until October.We have furniture and boxes everywhere, and so much is dependent on this carpet being installed. Yet you break promises and don't provide basic customer care.They have already started charging us and have already taken monthly installments.How can your company do this to people!??!?? I am genuinely disgusted with the service offered.

Have used Tapi for all the flooring throughout house apart from bedroom. Never had a problem until.. no one turned up to appointment so rescheduled no one turned up again. Phone service awful. So went to carpet right and 5 star service.

Adrian at Tapi did a great job coordinating our order with a speedy order turnaround, perfect to get lovely new carpet down with bouncy underlay down asap for my super-speedy crawling baby. Many thanks Adrian. Lovely chap did our measuring, fitter did an excellent job with our cottage-style wonky stone walls which I thought would be impossible to fit against! Absolutely fantastic service, I ordered my carpet from Tapi about 6 weeks ago and gave them a specific date and time that I needed it delivered by. The fitter Jay and his apprentice arrived on time and fitted the carpet within about an hour.I would 100% use them again.

Awful service. No communication, constant chasing. Poor quality, man on the phone is rude and snarky and terrible at Customer service. Would never use tapi again in my life time.
