Overall mixed feelings after purchasing Seat Alhambra from this seller. The car had a known DPF issue and the seller reduced the price by £400 so I could fix it. Upon review the case with my garage apart from the DPF the whole turbo needed to be reconditioned, which cost me another £900. I am still waiting for the warranty documents from this seller. Of course the seller is not willing to, at least contribute, to the cost of turbo fix. Would not buy from this seller again.

AVOID, NOT RECOMMENDED, SCAMMERSWent to buy a Citoren C1 with my partner last week.Massive mistake paying a deposit to see a vehicle especially one without a warranty.As a new driver my partner went to drive off but the car was revving and I thought he wasn't letting off the clutch.Anyway, later we sadly realised that the clutch was too high and fast forward a few days we went to a garage who confirmed it needed a new clutch and he we are £500 at a lost already.On the add and at the time of purches there was no mention about 'sold as seen' but after my parner paid via a bank tranfer thwy sent him an invoice with 'sold as seen'. Quite cheeky.After driving behind my partner in the way to the petrol station after we bought this car, I noticed the rear tyre was almost coming off the rim with 8 PSI on it... HOW HAS THAT CAR PASSED MOT that day I don't know. Very suspicious and it's all about the money with this private sales company.I asked one of the sales guys were the advisories from last year's MOT fixed by the previous owner if they know. He assured me all was fixed. What a LIAR! None of the advisories have been fixed and both tyres still have cracking. Would have appreciated honesty.Not to mention the state of the car on the inside - it was so crusty and dirty. They haven't even bothered to prep it.After a lot of chasing backwards and forwards my partner spoke to someone on the phone who said they won't pay for the clutch and will only offer £150. My partner tried to reason with the person on the phone who kept talking over my partner and was being rude and decided to HUNG UP...Any self-respecting car sales team will have customer service at their heart, but clearly with this place professionalism was thrown out the window.And this wasn't even the manager/director. The rude so called human on the phone should have told my partner that the manager is not there. Very brave over the phone. It's all about the money with this company.We would have appreciated honesty, professionalism and someone who cares about their customers. No solution as of yet has been provided!The disappointment is great but we live and learn. If I can advise people DO NOT GO TO BUYA CAR FROM THIS PLACE. They won't care if something happens.Last but not least, this is a private company and not part of any motor association thus if you get burnt like we did you have NO RIGHTS and motor Ombudsman won't help!UPDATE:In relation to your reply, but I am sorry your team have NOT tried to resolve any issues as you are claiming just to cover your back. He hung up on my partner. Until now a manager has not bothered to speak to us to resolve this ridiculous situation! You keep throwing lie after lie - we WERE NOT TOLD why the car was sold cheap nor was it mentioned in the add! This is ridiculous - if we had known we would have definitely not bought the car as we're now £500 down. This car does not cost £2000 altogether with the clutch...

I bought a VW Tourareg yesterday for a great price. The car was delivered to me 200 miles away within 7 hours without any fuss. The car is in better condition than advertised and the service history is fantastic. There are receipts going back over 15 years for servicing every 10 thousand miles on the button. You can tell that the previous owner of 10years + really cared for this car, and that Prominence Cars know what to look for when sourcing their cars.I will be using them again in the future to source my next car for me.
