Sheriffhall Park & Ride

Convenient for city centre, free parking, lots of spaces. Number 33 bus will get you into town in 20-25 minutes, we got a family day saver for £10.50. Same bus back from Princess St or South Bridge.

Great Park and ride well out of Edinburgh itself but still better than trying to drive in any further

Height barrier was fine for a VW camper van to fit under. £1.80 per adult for any length journey, one way. Simple easy way to get into the centre of Edinburgh. Tap card to pay was great

Not the best maintained park and ride in Edinburgh bushes very overgrown and loads of gravel about even though it’s tarmac, height restriction barrier is always open meaning spaces are sometimes tied up with multiple caravans/mobile homes at night

Disappointing park and ride, bit of a wilderness, nobody around to ask questions, if you’re not familiar with the area you’re stuffed. We caught the 33 into town, luckily there was a customer there who had an idea what to do but getting back was impossible. We couldn’t find where the bus went from, it was fringe so 4g went down and we couldn’t use maps. Finally found the bus stop waited 45 minutes and ended up getting a cab. Very disappointed and stressed. Also, no toilet facilities so had awful tummy ache until we could find somewhere. Edinburgh could learn lessons from Leeds or York, this is the worst P&R I’ve used. Employ some staff!

Worst park and ride i have ever used. Buses not frequent enough and unreliable. Will not use this service on my next visit.

Very good location for parking . Buses then run to city centre regularly. Cost for an adult £1.80. Open 24 hours. Used by lots of Edinburgh hospital staff,as the bus goes through the hospital area.

Excellent for grabbing a number 33 bus to Princess Street. No parking charges.

As a park and ride, this place is an excellent spot for getting in and out of Edinburgh. The bus ride into the city cost £1.80 when I did it in December 2022. There were plenty of parking spots to pick from...I hope it is the same in the summer!
