Minehead, Butlins

Never been before so wasn't sure what to expect....brilliant place, loads of entertainment and everyone very friendly that works there. Loved the personal greeting when you arrive.Stayed in a gold apartment which was pretty basic and quite compact but clean and we only stayed the weekend so fine.Only criticism was, we couldn't find a certain activity that we booked and asked 4 different Butlins employees and all said the same don't know as a new activity and hadn't been briefed on where being held"! Which wasn't great but apart from that will definitely be visiting a Butlins again."

Yea good place shame there’s so much gone of the past but still worth a visit and rooms are very comfortable and nice

Really good stay. Everyone is so friendly and even though it's really busy we can still see/ride everything with ease. We went for the meal package and it's pretty good. Good choice and selection and nice food. The only thing is I wish it was a little warmer and there is a lack of high chairs for the little ones. This said, still fantastic and we'll worth its money. Great stay.

Great place for families. The skyline pavilion is set out well and is full of entertainment. Centre stage is a great live music venue. The only let down so far is the venue called reds. It's very smelly, even when we walked in as the venue first opened, and the room was almost empty, the smell hits you. It smells of bodies and feet very strongly. So strong that we had to leave after a few minutes. Unfortunately a good portion of the live entertainment for the week is in this venue which is disappointing. The food in the deck restaurant is decent and there is a good variety of choices. The silver apartment we stayed in was adequate with a comfortable enough bed. The sofa's are very uncomfortable. The heating and plumbing are absolutely fine.

My elderly parents and myself stayed in the silver apartments, which had enough space for the three of us. We booked the meal plan and the dinning room was clean and there was a large selection of food , but most importantly was that all members of staff where very friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this holiday and we would come back.

Weĺl just wanted to say that the apartment we were given was bad because first the front window was boarded up because inside the window was smashed in, inside the bathroom the floor was covered with mold the shower floor was partly black the loo was had selent round it. I did explain about my having been qwit poorly last year and this was my first butlins holiday in minehead for 4 year's. But this was a bit of a shock to see this inside + there was a big line a cross the ceiling which was fpollyfeler same with the hallway and by the living room window. Yet you change for this was £1,180. For the week. I'm very unhappy about the price that you charge for this room it was block R apart ment6. Mrs. Birkett

Great place for kids, just spent the day here, and probably only did 25% of things to do and see. Lots of different shows to watch, as well as 100s of things to do. Need a week here to get round everything.

Madness House Of Fun Weekend. Fantastic weekend. From the Butlins staff from bars to house keeping all very nice polite and service with a smile. Sadly it will be the last house of fun next year 2020. Accommodation is selling out fast as most of the fans have re booked.

There are lots of activities on site and the town is just a short walk. We had days out at dunster castle and lynton and lynmouth while there which was great to do. Really enjoyed the lazy river in the swimming pool and the slides were great fun.

Loved it can't wait to go back next year! Food was great and the little one loved it and that's all that matters! Already booked again for next year! Accommodation okish not the best but done the trick!
