Harrogate District Hospital

Staff are great but knackered all grades !When you use this Hospital you can feel the stress and see how more staff and funding will lift it .Its's like using a wool blanket to shield from a rain storm .

A good hospital but the resiting of the blood clinic at the furthest point from the carpark needs questioning

BEWARE THE NEW PARKING SYSTEM! If you park twice in one day you can be charged from the initial entry to the final leaving time not just the time you were physically parked in the on-site car park.

Excellent care from the A&E team. I spent almost 24 hours at the hospital. Being concerned about my symptoms I was re- assured and taken care of. All the nesessary tests were done and a diagnosis made. The two doctors who looked after me were fantastic, the nursing staff were very friendly . Thank you so much!

I was seen in A&E by Sameer Khan, a lovely Associate Specialist in ho dealt with my condition thoroughly and promptly. Mr Khan is a lovely practitioner who made me feel very at ease and listened to. Hospitals need more doctors like Mr Khan.

I suffer from very complex mental health problems and during a particularly bad few days I went to a&e only to met with one of the rudest individuals I've ever encountered working behind the front desk there. If anyone at the hospital reads this you seriously need to fire the woman who works there on Sunday evenings because she is blatantly unfit for dealing with the public, much less vulnerable people.

Have had a horrendous time since a nasty fall in June. Went to A and E. Didn’t see a doctor. The nurse dealt with my facial injuries. But ignored my knee. And I did mention it. I’m still having issues four months later with it and nhs. Still waiting for outcome. Changed doctors after 4 months of this incompetence. Might not be much better. As nhs is not good. In x ray which should have been done months ago. Nothing said about any muscle or tissue or fracture. All it said was tibia spikes which I assume means the start of arthritis. What gets me they totally ignored the fact I had a nasty fall. And assume that’s it. Radiographer put on info no further action. What a joke. I’m going to the ombudsman once I do finally get a report back about findings. I doubt it will be impressive. That nurse should be sacked.
