Was given a timely appointment and the vet was very gentle with the cat. Treatment seems to be working well and will definitely go back for the check up.

After our little terrier Edith collapsed on a walk last week, we called Witham View straight away. The receptionist said they were busy but bring her anyway. When we arrived, there were vetinary nurses ready to monitor her until a vet was free. After tests and treatment, Edith still needed out of hours care so we were sent over to Louth with a tentative diagnosis of haemorrhagic diarrhoea and a guarded prognosis (they seemed keen not to give us false hope).5 days later, Edith was well enough to come home. We're so grateful for the early care that Witham View provided. We feel that they made all the right decisions, always with Edith's best interests in mind. Thank you so much!!

When I had to take my 15 year old husky to be put down Tuesday 14th November. The staff were simply incredible and compassionate. Saying goodbye to my oldest friend was all the more easier because of them. Thank you, from the bottom of my and my families hearts!

After a short illness I had to have Wilson my cat put to sleep. The vet and the vetinary nurse could not have been anymore supportive and professional . Thank you so much for making the process more bearable.

They pecribed wrong medication for a miner injery for the paw called loxicom and Cause the dog to have internal bleeding.Who became anaemic and they had to put the dog down due to the treatment he received he is now dead! and another time we went we got over charged over £1,000 they then said I don't know how to fix this mistake you will need to sort it with your bank if we had taken him to a different vet he would still be with us now.

I've always had good service from the vets and the nurses. Just keep an eye on the accounts especially if going through the insurance. I've had a couple of instances where they haven't credited money to my account and they seem incapable of providing a copy to check .

Receptionist called Kerri unbelievably rude. She had her back up and seemed like she wanted to argue with the customer, very dismissive and actively spoke over the customer as to not let her speak. Avoid and find yourself a vets with proper staff.

Avoid this shoddy establishment. The staff (both reception and vet) lack compassionate skills of any sort. For anyone wanting a veterinary practice where you feel you can receive respect, trust and empathy from the staff there, this is not the place. Putting your beloved pet to sleep is a terrible process no matter the situation. However when trying to decide on when and where the euthanasia would happen, I specifically asked for the price of the service and the difference between vet vs home visit to which the response from the vet was “XX and fuel” - she very conveniently left out the additional £75 she would later add on the invoice for travel (we live approx £2 fuel cost from the practice round trip there and back, so even if you were to add a premium on top of that as I understand it’s a business at the end of the day, call it £20 or even £40, just be honest and transparent) - omitting the obscene charge purposefully is grossly irresponsible and has resulted in me having no trust whatsoever in this establishment. It’s not about the money, it’s about decency and trust, which is something one would expect from their vet when their fur baby is being put to sleep. Like I said, it’s not even about the money, it’s about needing empathy when going through a truly heartbreaking time, which this vet fell short of - both during the consultation and euthanasia appointment - and feeling lied to when receiving the invoice after. I do not accept that she simply forgot or any excuse of that sort as I specifically asked for the difference between vet practice vs at home and the cost. The thing that made it even worse was having to endure the rudeness of the receptionist when I called asking for the complaints process.Receptionist Kerry has terrible customer service skills as she was talking over me and using the guise of “following policy” to try and end a phone call when any customer can surely call with any enquiry. As soon as she heard that I wanted to make a complaint, she wanted to put the phone down on me, which is unnecessary anyway. I had to ask on two occasions if I could speak as she spoke over me so many times. However I do appreciate she was trying to abide by unreasonable policies set by the practice, but her lack of customer service skills definitely makes a bad experience with this practice even more sour.
