Absolutely love this salon, girls are all so lovely and professional with great chat. Always a comfortable environment to be in and I always leave so happy. When I’ve had hair extensions, with maintenance in between and they’ve lasted me 5 months and still looked amazing when taken out. All of my natural hair was still thick, in good condition and given I’m a natural brunette always going blonder. I cannot recommend this salon enough x

Review of Beauty lips aesthetics;I do not recommend Maria’s services and I’m shocked with service I have received.I had a severe allergic reaction to filler dissolver and was very unwell for 2 weeks, spent two days in hospital and still have not fully recovered.I had under eye filler around 7 weeks ago. I was overfilled and it looked puffy and not good. After visiting the Maria twice I decided to have the filler dissolved. Maria gave no after care advice and sent me on my way. The following day I woke up with one very swollen eye lid, within a couple of hours it had spread to the following eye. I messaged Maria and asked if this was normal- her response was she didn’t think it was from the dissolver. 2 days later both eyes were VERY infected and sore- I was shocked I had no follow up message from Maria to check how I was doing. The allergic reaction spread to the rest my body; I was covered head to toe in a very itchy rash which then lead to a swollen face and ears. Which subsequently led to spending two days in hospital-the doctors think it was either a reaction to the filler leaving my body or the dissolver.10 days later I messaged Maria to let her what had happened and sent her some pictures and asked what filler she had used so I could avoid that in the future. Maria saw my message and has yet to respond.Her behaviour is completely unacceptable. I’m not blaming her for how I reacted but for insisting the reaction was not from the filler and for not checking in with or responding is very disappointing and reckless. And really for not giving after any after care advice.I would avoid this place at all costs.

This review is for Beauty lips aesthetic as I am very disappointed with Maria communication .I have had an appointment booked , confirmed and paid deposit . Few hours before appoitment i released I won’t be able to make it on time , message , called , left voicemail to find out is there any possibility to be late , Maria has not replied at all .Feels like she does not care about the customers .

I absolutely love my extensions! I have strawberry blonde/ginger hair so I thought they'd be difficult to match but Stephanie has some proper skill in doing extensions. Unfortunately, a few of them (all the same colour) came out but this was just an unfortunate event with the hair rather than the salon. I came back in as soon as it happened and they were put back in with free of charge with absolutely no bother. Couldn't recommend them enough and I will continue to come to Edinburgh to get them done.

Been in twice this week, once with my 15 year old and then gor myself. My daughter loved her hair and I loved the way she was treated and just how friendly the girls are also they don't take offence if you just wanna sit quietly and enjoy the experience. I booked with the service believing I would have a professional experience but I really don’t feel like I got that. I was unsure about what colour of hair extensions to get and in the end asked for multi tone to blend the blonde with my natural dark hair. I got a one tone block colour. Also I was advised at my consultation that I could get a colour melt to blend my roots; I wasn’t sure about it so we decided to talk about it at my hair appointment. On the day, I waited 30 minutes which was apologised for but then the girl doing my hair went straight into doing a hair melt without me having a clue and the only way I found out what was happening was by awkwardly having to ask. The pictures show the uneven finish of the hair (which was not cut at all) and I, who had never had extensions before, wouldn’t know to ask for this at the time.During my appointment it had been suggested to me that I came back the next day to have my hair styled (once I washed it to get used to it). The next day I was called to be told they hadn’t charged me correctly and I needed to come back into the salon to pay for more tapes. When I went in to pay the extra and have it styled I was only then told that if I’d had the style service during my appointment the day before it would have been included but because they were separate appointments I paid £40 for this. I had an event on that day and the constant poor communication on top of the hair I’d been left with was extremely stressful.I think when people are paying a lot of money, there should be true care and professionalism that goes into the service. Honestly, I felt like another person that they had to get in and out of the door. This was my first visit at the salon as well as my first time getting hair extensions and I felt pretty nervous the whole time, naturally but also definitely not helped by the service. Not to mention, the girl doing my hair talked to me about people who come into the salon and speak about their mental health issues and how uncomfortable it makes her feel when she sees self harm scars. She then stressed about her upcoming holiday for almost the remainder of my appointment.I did mention some of the above issues the next day when I returned but was told they were just miscommunications and that they couldn’t do anything about it. They informed me that they’d let the manager know and basically that she would contact me if she thought what I’d mentioned deserved any attention. I went to another hairdresser who had to colour and cut the extensions to blend them to my hair as I was unable to wear my hair down comfortably. I’m looking for a reply within the next 1-2 days working days otherwise I will be taking it to trading standards.(Edit): I would like to add that the first two pictures are taken after 5 weeks, not 13 weeks. I have absolutely not neglected my hair; there was just a huge mismatch when they were fitted. Some of the points in your reply I take on board but so many of my points have been completely disregarded/ignored. I have been extremely busy and unable to make contact before this and I’ll admit I didn’t know the 7-14 day policy. However I did not feel I wanted to return to the salon to ask for changes mainly because when I mentioned any of these points at the time I got shut down.
