Don't waste your time if you're class 1 driver and want to work 4-5 days a week at Sainsbury's Northampton. They promise yoy job just to lure you there ,once you're in ,after just a few weeks they start to offer you only weekends (if you're lucky) and all of a sudden request you to work around the clock,but basically with night starts 11-1. If you refuse there's no communication whatsoever. Remember name Dora Szanti,disgusting liar, who if you need something she never text you with any feedback, UNLESS there is something she needs from you,then there's no problem whatsoever. Anyway at most of the times you will be ignored . No payslips,only on your request,but if you forget to ask,nothing will be sent. The list goes on and on. All negative feedbacks are true,the positive ones are obviously made by H&G or friends. Stay away !

Many agencies for drivers in London area but not many like this. I say is one of the best. They have many contracts with different sites so for sure one is near you and suitable with your expectations! Friendly personnel, always willing to help and make the wheels spinning in favour of all parts. Highly recommended!

I joined the agency on the 27th of January 2020 as a night-shift worker and up till now, I am still working there.I work in the Ocado Warehouse in Hatfield as a picker through H&G.Excellent pay rate for night shift and you get a pay rise if you pass three months.The pay is always on time.The one who manages the night shift in Hatfield, Muazam Ali is very friendly, knowledgeable and tolerant.Whenever an employee of the agency has a problem, he gives all his best to help resolve that issue. It is one of the things I like about him.I am a very hardworking individual and because of that, I got promoted to become a night super-temp.I have not had any issue with the agency on my part.Great agency, would recommend to anyone.There are few things I would like to suggest1. The problem of some employees not getting the right amount of pay especially when they do overtime needs to be dealt with.2. If employees of the agency can be rewarded based on their performance and attendance, it will motivate them to work more and better and even recommend to other people.Bright StephensH&G Hatfied

I've been working for H&G 2 and a half years. I can tell that it is a great agency, very professional and friendly staff.They pay on time every time or if the payment is on a bank holiday then they let you know in advance when you'll get your money, usually earlier.Search no more you found a very good agency.

Recruitment could have been easier and clearer and I did not get off to the best start with no one asking me my medical history meaning I was nearly not able to finish my training. Having joined during lockdown the details that were given were not the best. I wasn't even shown where the H&G office was within the building had their been an issue.However since my first week everything else has been great. Peter is super helpful and has even helped me with my shifts meaning I can do my old pre covid job alongside this one. I was also after more hours and they were very forthcoming with information in starting an hour earlier and requesting more shifts where the business allowed.There is always someone in the office should anyone need anything. This is something that may be taken for granted but having spoken to other agency staff where this is not the case they have been left searching for answers where we have not.PS give Peter a pay rise.

We've been working with H&G for many years supplying them with ppe for their recruits, they are a real pleasure to deal with. I just wanted to share the excellent feedback I hear from their staff, they've worked tirelessly through the pandemic keeping essential businesses going. Fully deserve 5 stars.

I have to say H&G are probably one of the worst agencie I've worked for as a HGV Driver, the office staff lie constantly, they can't provide work for the drivers they have already and constantly recruit new drivers, when you question anything about inadequate shifts, their simple reply is we are a agency!, as Hgv driver there isn't a shortage of work, but i feel H&G as a company are unprofessional and they need to take a good look at the staff they employ in the office, they have large blue chip contracts, however their ununethical behaviour as a company is shocking.

I have nothing but positive things to say about the St.Albans office. Its my first agency as a class1 driver and everyone has been so helpful. Particular thanks to Lauren and Vicki for everything they do. If you are looking for work, get in touch with H&G.
