The Village Bakery
The village bakery is such a good shop. The people who service me and others are so lovely and friendly. Carla is nice and the bakery serves nice, fresh food. You can seat outside or inside, there in no problem. I will definately come here again.

Had some work in the area, and needed lunch. Was going for the usual at Tesco Express and passed The Village Bakery.Wow.I had the steak pasty-slice and some sausage rolls for tomorrow.The slice was amazing!Not only was the food incredible the service was too.I shall be looking for more work in the area now!

Such a friendly owner and employees. Very vibrant and warm place. We went specifically for the south African event and the whole place just felt like we were back home. She also sells some South African groceries and SA baked goods like milk tart and peppermint crisp tart. Great experience

Great local bakery. Grab some sweet treats with a coffee and enjoy the atmosphere. Great selection of various cakes to try out and changing each day. Don't forget to grab your fresh loaves of breads including gluten free options.

I visited this morning with a friend of mine. I had a Belgium bun and 2 black coffees and they had a croissant and a tea. My coffee arrived on a wooden board with a butterfly butter biscuit and the tea came in a tea pot with a mini bottle of milk with a butterfly butter biscuit. My Belgium bun was enormous and absolutely delicious. My friends croissant came with strawberry jam, as requested. The Village bakery is cozy, warming and welcoming. I would definitely recommend a visit. Lots of choices of loaves, cup cakes and savory options.

Love this place. Always a warm welcoming atmosphere. Quite often have some themed menus based South African tradition. The cakes are delicious but it's the friendly atmosphere that keeps us coming back.
