Catflap Pet Rescue

Catflap is a wonderful charity who really cares about cats! My cat adopted me from here (love him so much)! Janice is super helpful and such a lovely individual!

Went to see about adopting a cat and felt like I was under interigation. A lady came out to the house and made me feel like I wasn't good enough to take care of a cat. When I went to see the cat she had picked out for me (I never got a choice) the cat didn't take to me, it hissed and ran away.I left and said that I needed time to think as the cat seemed unsure about me. When I messaged a few days later to say I wouldn't feel comfortable taking the cat I got a really cheeky message back saying that im sure someone else will take her home then. But if you want to make a donation here's how"Went to the SPCA a few days later and couldn't have been happier with the service. I now have a lovely cat and would highly recommend the Glasgow centre"

Janice and all the volunteers in CatFlap are genuinely committed to cats' wellbeing and happiness, and they have been extremely helpful during the adoption process. We love our adopted cat so much!

I was asked by a store if I would donate to this store and I gave them a straight forward no.I tried to adopt a kitten from here, 5 years ago as my child has autism and we wanted a cat to grow used to my son. This was a choice that I didn't take lightly to. I bought books on how to look after a kitten which was a fun learning experience for him and it was good to get a refresher on. As per request on their rules, I got my landlord to write a verbal permission for me to have a cat in the property. I still have this letter to date.When I called, I was greeted by a woman, who sounded like a Scottish Hyacinth Bucket (Bouquet) spoke down on me for daring to call and ask. She told me that there was no kittens available said that she would call me back and take details when kittens became available. She never did.The kittens that were available went straight to a local cat cafe. I was fuming. It's like a kick in the teeth, I wasn't even given a chance, the person instantly made an assumption on me without meeting me.My friend kindly got us a kitten for my family and she is a well love and much respected member of the family, 2 years on. Charities run by people like this woman are the reason, people who geniunely love cats are missing out and cats are missing out on loving homes.

Got my current cat I've had for a year and and 6 months, the lady running it was extremely helpful.They have a few volunteers and all are very caring.

Adopted two wonderful big boys and Janice, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. The cats were clearly well looked after and provided for during their stay. Would recommend Catflap to anyone looking to adopt a new member of the family.

Catflap Bearsden. This charity is run by wonderful women who truly care for these cats . I’ve recently got my beautiful cat Snow from here , Janice is a lovely lady and the volunteers are all lovely helpful people.
