Ordered this kettle in the sale for £13.00 day before it was due to be collected from the. Store got an email saying order could not be for filled due to being out of stock yet when I went onto website surprise surprise kettle was still available from the same store, only difference they had put price back up to £20.00 which is full price.this is not good practice and I will be putting this review on all social media platforms and review sites just to let everyone know what your doing.absolute disgrace.

Fab range of stock. However, there are never any “scan and go” scanners charged which defeats the point of “scan and go” and is quite frustrating. Also, there is always a large queue which is frustrating for people who have disabilities and cannot stand for long.

DisgracefulI regularly shop at Asda, Boldon. Called in yesterday to purchase a Christmas tree, at a cost of £25. As part of the Asda rewards app, I had a voucher for £4 off when “spending £20 or more on Christmas lights, trees and decorations”. On scanning the tree, the discount was initially applied, but when I went to pay, the £4 discount had been removed. I queried this with a member of staff who couldn’t explain why the discount had not been applied. Two other members of staff attempted to assist but again could offer no explanation as to why the discount had not been applied. They called for further assistance. A small, bespectacled man, wearing a Christmas jumper, possibly a manager? appeared. He was very dismissive, asking if I had read the terms and conditions of the voucher, which I indeed had, before attempting to make my purchase. He then stated that the £4 discount on Christmas tree’s applied only to the £100 artificial tree on sale! I asked him, where in the terms and conditions this was stipulated and he was unable to answer this, even after spending over 10 minutes, scrolling through the t&c on the app. He then stated although it was not written anywhere, it was “up to the manager’s discretion”!! Excuse me!! Surely this amounts to false advertising or misrepresentation? It was apparent to me that this manager? was simply making it up as he was going along! Absolutely disgraceful. Shame on you Asda

All ASDA stores have changed for the worse, since the ISA brothers bought it from Walmart - My first visit recently to ASDA Boldon is one I'd rather forget - I had a very bad experience at the self service checkout area whilst queueing, I was disgusted to see 1 young chap running around... in charge of 10+ self service checkouts? I shall not be using the ASDA Boldon store in future. The queue's are ridiculous during peak times...and the staff can be rude!I dumped my basket full.of groceries and walked out disgruntled and empty handed.Never again! Ended up going to Herons around the corner.

There are never any handsets and tried using the self scan app and it scanned 4 boxes of eggs when we only bought one, need to put all the checkouts back on can't expect us to do it all ourselves without the equipment being available. Well done asda scored nearly £10.00

Monday morning, massive queues, 3 staff on the basket, trolley and self scan tills, if you want people to “self scan” what’s the point in having the staff scanning them again!! No trust obviouslySkeleton staff on normal tills it was chaosWhen I asked why, apparently the manager Sean had cut the hours for staff and he had been in but had now gone homeThe staff are not to blame they deserve better than this from management Sean get your act together mate and get on the tills and see how hard your staff work

The store is anything but wheelchair friendly. All of the Disabled parking spaces are in the open while all the Parent & Toddler enjoy the cover of the upper parking deck. In the rain this results in myself and my wheelchair bound partner getting soaked while the prams and pushchairs remain dry. Also, there are only two manned checkouts that the wheelchair trolley can fit through and there is only ever one manned at any time. Sometimes none and we have to ask. Since anyone can use the wide checkout surely these should be a priority.ASDA have no legitimate online complaints procedure so I have been forced to leave this review here and on Trust Pilot where it cannot be ignored or brushed aside.

I doubt I'll ever return to the cafe, it was disgusting. Came in for breakfast with a friend before shopping and wish we hadn't. The atmosphere, caused by the terrible attitude of the lady manager, her name badge said Helen, was very off-putting. She was snapping at the other staff like they were always wrong. She started taking orders for lunch before 11:00 while breakfast was still on then walked off and left the rest to deal with the chaos. The man washing dishes was told" to take her place.
