Don't waste your time here, for they where slow in doing anything, forever been told that they are too busy so many occasions I never got a call back, the reception behaved like a Karen. And the icing on the cake for me was, when I had to call the DWP on behave of my mum, my name wasn't on their list, it was the lawyers name and this company's name, so the person from the DWP had the good graces to change it back to my name. So to me this law firm are a waste of time

This company and its conveyancing solicitors are involved with criminal activities of the northern powerhouse and the charlatans like Gavin Woodhouse. Avoid these dishonest people. They have made millions of pounds disappear into the dirty pockets of dishonest hotel purchases. How these people go to sleep every night having ruined hundreds of British retirees is a big mystery to any normal human being. Shame on you and your business.

Stressful experience from start to finish, any other company would be a better experience than this place.The receptionist, Tina and those who answer the phones are patronising and defensive making it difficult to communicate and get in touch with the solicitors for advice and updates.My personal experience, we used these solicitors to complete a house sale. Aside from the excessive level of paperwork and forms that needed completing before they touch your case (they only accept in person drop offs of completed paperwork so if you live far away please be aware you will need to make several trips back and forth to their office), they made a start to our case as requested, just 1 week later from accepting the solicitor to act on our behalf we confirmed directly with the solicitor that any work needs to be stopped immediately until further notice.The house sale was unfortunately unable to proceed. The solicitors confirmed that the checks by now had in fact been completed and this was something we had already paid for as well which is of course fair.However we received an additional bill for £350. On top of everything we had already paid for. I asked the solicitor, Alex, to confirm where this additional bill came from just to understand the costs and where this extra bill had come from.Alex became defensive and avoided the question. After several communications, the solicitor still could not specify why an additional charge was being made. You would think if someone is going to charge you something they could quite easily explain where that charge comes from.Not only did they not provide evidence as to where they had plucked a number out of thin air, but proceeded to cornering us by threatening us with an 8% interest on the bill if not paid when we were in the middle of complaint and trying to find an answer.The only work we had done was checks being sent off and this cost us nearly £700 according to them so if you don’t want to be robbed and work with a team of people who can’t communicate very well I would suggest any alternative option.

I would not recommend this solicitor. They are incredibly slow and unresponsive. I would not use their services again.
