Fairbank Wedding Barn

Simply stunning. The venue, the team, the whole set up is just amazing. We married at Fairbank on 8th July 2023 & it was just perfect from start to finish. Clare is so good at what she does, especially on the day, ensuring everything runs so smoothly but in the background so the whole day is seamless. Do not hesitate to book here for your special day.

We got married at Fairbank Barn on Easter Saturday and had the most amazing day. We booked the venue back in 2021 before they’d held any weddings as we could see the potential and it certainly did not disappoint. The views from the main barn are incredible and we got a 4x4 ride up to the private tarn for photos after the ceremony and the 360 views up there were breathtaking. Clare and the team were so friendly and professional on the day and worked seamlessly with our caterers. Clare was amazing throughout the whole process, being very accommodating with all requests and questions, thinking about things we hadn’t even thought of and just dealing with them in the background and just generally being helpful for what could have otherwise been a very stressful event. We would not hesitate to recommend Fairbank to anyone.

We were married at Fairbank Barn in May 2023. It was perfect in every way. A relaxed but very beautiful venue with everything you need on hand. The ceremony room is so pretty and intimate and the barn looks magical, especially all lit up after dark. The trip to the Fairbank Tarn for photos was spectacular. The beautifully equipped farmhouse onsite was a luxurious place to stay, and made the whole weekend special from the moment we arrived to when we said our goodbyes on Sunday to Claire the owner. The whole experience was very personal and friendly, and Claire was incredibly helpful throughout. We wholeheartedly recommend Fairbank for a wonderful wedding venue.

I can't begin to describe how fantastic this beautiful place is. Clare and her spectacular team run the barn like a military operation without any hassle or stress. I was flapping because the wedding cake had an incident in transport, but Clare calmed me down and was fantastic. Nothing is too much to ask. The venue is stunning, in a beautiful setting and everything looks great. If you're looking for a venue for a wedding or a party in the lake district then look no further. There will be no disappointment.

We got married at Fairbank Barn last weekend (June 17th) and had the best day ever. Clare and her team were so accommodating and helpful, always there in the run up and on the day if you had a question or needed anything, and reminding us of things we might not even have thought of.The facilities themselves were perfect for what we were looking for, and love the fact that the entire ceremony, and reception barn are yours to decorate as you wish. The use of the house meant that overall the whole process was nice and relaxing, didn’t have to go from A to B. And having all off the spaces joined by the beautiful lawns and gardens with amazing views - and if that wasn’t enough, we were able to go up to the private tarn in the 4x4 for our couples pictures, with panoramic views of the surrounding Fells.Overall great value for a rural wedding in the lakes. 10/10 would recommend!

Fairbank Barn is an extraordinary setting for a Lake District wedding! Not only is the venue itself stunning but Clare and the team are fantastic! If you are after a rural wedding, this place is hard to beat! Able to set-up the venue as you wish, the serenity of the hills around you, staying on site, exploring up to the tarn - it was the perfect choice for our wedding.Thanks again Clare!

We had a magical weekend for our wedding at Fairbank.The barn, ceremony shippon and all of the buildings and gardens have been beautifully restored, retaining their original character.Clare is brilliant at what she does. It's one thing having beautiful buildings and spectacular views but they're nothing without Clare and her top team to make everything happen so smoothly. We absolutely loved being at Fairbank and the stunning venue and tarn were fantastic.So many guests commented on how fantastic and beautiful the venue and the setting is, and the detail and thoughtfulness within Fairbank. And I completely agree! Since we first visited in November 2021, the venue has grown and become even more established and stunning than when we came the first time!The house was fantastic and a luxurious base for us to use and relax in, and a massive selling point for our selection of Fairbank. And it felt so special to be up at the Tarn, knowing that very few people get to access and experience that amazing place! We were sad to leave!Clare and her team were amazing throughout and helped create a chilled and supportive atmosphere from Friday through to Monday which we really appreciated. Plus just the right amount of clear, helpful information right through from enquiry to post-wedding.Thank you so so so much! We would do it all again with Fairbank if we could!
