I, and my new husband, can't really express how lucky, overjoyed and grateful we are to have had such amazing and charmingly Northern photographers such as yourselves Nick and Nic! Not only are the photos just beautiful and classic, that we really feel like they capture us wonderfully as a couple, but also, you were both just a delight to have on the day; we just felt cared for by both of you, beyond the photos, you made us laugh and smile, and we will look back fondly on having had you both be part of our special day. From start to finish you were attentive, great communication throughout, always made us feel reassured and relaxed. We have already said we would love to arrange some anniversary photos with yourself in the future, maybe even family photos! So, we couldn't recommend you enough really, thank you both very much.

From the first time we met Nic and Nick we was at complete ease.. from our first meeting until they left the venue on our special day the care and attention they both showed really does show why they are the best photographers around.We instantly felt relaxed and almost like we had known them forever which really made me and my new wife feel at ease. We had originally booked another photographer before meeting these guys but was so impressed with them that we booked Nic and Nick instead. We have had some samples from the day sent through and we are amazed by them! We can't wait to see the rest but if anyone is looking for a team of photographers to make sure their special day is captured perfectly I wouldn't look any furyher than photogenic. They really did take away any worry we had.And above all else they are both genuinely lovely people..Guys, genuinely thank you so much for everything!

Everything we could have wished for and more!Planning our wedding we knew we wanted people involved who were fun and approachable, finding a photographer seemed harder and harder as we just didn't click with anyone we met. On a random day, myself and my wife went to Elsecar Heritage Centre to try one of our food vendors out at a wedding fair and as we were walking back to the car I spotted the cutest studio with a really tall man outside and he waved us over.Once inside it was a done deal... just like that. The photos around the studio and in the portfolios were just beautiful, and these two really chatty, funny and quirky photographers to us were perfect.We didn't want an engagement shoot or 'traditional' wedding photos and Nick and Nic were just as excited as us when we explained what we wanted. It added even more excitement to our day.Your professionalism is outstanding. Your work is brilliant and quick (as we were getting drunk after the legal wedding our phones pinged with photos THE SAME DAY!). Your presence and manner with our guests was exactly what we wanted, everyone told us how comfortable you made them feel. Nothing was too much... even ganging up with my wife in a field of grain up to my waist to get that money shot (and I admit ... what a photo!)We now have all our photos and what can I say... you captured everything perfectly. We cannot stop looking at them!I am absolutely gutted I can't have you walking around with me everyday, you made us feel a million dollars... exactly how it should be on your wedding day. Nick and Nic were amazing! They were recommended to us by our venue and, since the first consultation call we had with them, we knew they were the perfect fit.Our guests absolutely loved the slideshow display of photos taken earlier in the day, being able to see the first edits made them feel that much more involved when they spotted themselves.Beyond taking amazing photos, they made what was already the perfect day somehow even better. By the end of the night they felt like part of the wedding party, and even shared a dance with the bride!After the wedding was over they continued to go above and beyond, sending our beautiful wedding photos to us within just a couple of weeks. So you look at all the reviews and think these are too good to be true; let me reassure you: they are true.Nic and Nick are the best photographers I have ever met. Their style of shots is stunning, classy, and dramatic. I could go on, just look at the website: that says it all.We had just booked Kelham Island Museum for our weeding so the hard work started. After hours, days, more like weeks I came across a photo taken at Kelham Island: a night photo of the happy couple in a phone box.Wow! Stunning! I knew straight away we had found what we were looking for.So we booked an appointment to go and visit them. As soon as we walked in to the studio we were blown away with the quality of the work, and how friendly but professional they were.Nic and Nick just put us at ease, they knew what we wanted so no hard sell, and no up-selling!We were so impressed with what we had seen we booked them there and then, we didn’t have to go away and think about it at all.So before we knew it the big day was getting close. Nic and Nick got in touch and we sorted a date and time for the pre-shoot. “Pre-shoot” I hear you say? Neither of us thought we would be comfortable having one, let alone two, photographers focussed on us. I was a bag of nerves but that didn't last long. It was so much fun, well worth it as we all got to know each other. The outcome was some brilliant photos. So we knew what we were in for with these two, so good to work with, so much fun!The big day arrived!Nic and Nick came to our hotel, unpacked their equipment and put us at ease to the point we even forgot they were taking photos. After an hour they left lto get ready to meet us at the venue.As soon as we stepped out of the taxi, Nick started taking photos. Everything felt so natural, nothing was pushy or hard work. We hardly noticed them working away at ceremony. It all happened so fast, and before we knew it we were ready to take all the group shoots; you know, the staged ‘naff old fashioned ones’...  Well, not with these two. We have some classy photos now. It was all so relaxed. And while Nic was taking these Nick was taking some fabulous sneaky shots of the rest of the guests.And bit by bit all the guests made their way inside, and it was our turn.We were up for anything; we went for it and the photos are stunning.  Everything was so relaxed, it just felt right.Finally, we get our grand entrance in Little Mesters’ Street and everybody had bubbles (strictly no confetti!). Again, the photos were absolutely stunning. Wow!The wedding breakfast and speeches came and went so fast, but we have some brilliant photos to always look back on.And then, before we knew it, it was time for the First Dance. We didn’t notice Nic and Nick snapping away during the dance; and yet again we have more stunning photos. But then the surprise began. I managed to arrange a flash mob with my work colleagues to surprise Nigel. Nic and Nick were in on it and kept the secret. It went brilliantly and the photos are out of this world. Nic and Nick’s style is so modern and  stylish, and I keep saying it - yes, stunning!And to top it off we added the photo booth to the evening. Everyone was impressed with this, a winner all around. And, (yes, there’s more) one of the photos from the pre-shoot had been printed and framed so our guests could sign the frame - a very special touch now taking pride of place on the wall.But it does not end there,  a lovely package came a couple of weeks later. We won’t spoil the surprise by telling you what form the package took but it contained a USB stick with all the photos from the day. So much thought was put into this package. Yet again stunning.I can’t say enough how much pleasure it was to work with this wonderful couple; nothing was too much.Words cannot say enough, but the photos do.Stunning. I couldn't recommend Nick & Nic more highly! From the very start they were helpful and friendly which is exactly what you need when planning a wedding. We had a discussion before the day about how things would word, including a wet weather plan as the forecast wasn't looking good, which really helped me feel at ease.On the day, Nick & Nic brought such good energy and got stuck in straight away getting amazing shots, most of the time we didn't even know they were there. Our guests have also said how great they were on the day.It was the perfect mix of getting those incredible shots, but not taking us away from enjoying and celebrating our day. We will treasure these photos forever!

We didn't need to look anywhere else because they're the best of the best.Photographs of the wedding were the one thing I would not be compromising on and once we had seen previous work, we met with them in the studio (which is gorgeous). They were so welcoming and have a mass of knowledge about what they do, we were sold!We were due to get married during the pandemic which of course needed postponing, and they were so helpful and accommodating, I planned the wedding around their availability because I knew I didn't want anyone else doing the job.3 dates later (due to several postponements) we were finally there, and the pictures grabbed the atmosphere and day just perfect! We couldn't have asked for anything better.I look back at them constantly and I'm instantly transported to the day, they're amazing and will soon be all over our house.Our guests commented on how friendly and approachable they both were and how amazing they worked on the day.They didn't stop and nothing was too much for them at all.You can see how much both Nick and Nic love their job and it comes across in their work.I recommend them to everyone and anyone who needs a photographer.A massive thank you to you both for capturing our day and being there x

We chose Photogenick to do our wedding photos after researching many different photographers. It was a no brainer... After seeing the work on their website and on instagram we contacted them to arrange a zoom call to double check the packages and that they would be the right photographers for our big day. Nick and Nic were both on the call and were so fun and outgoing we felt like we had known them for ages. On the day of the wedding nothing was too much to ask and they had great ideas, all the guests commented for days after saying how fun they were and all the shots they got were so natural as everyone felt at ease around them and didn't even know pictures were being taken half the time. All in all we were so happy with the day and how amazing the pictures turned out, we would highly recommend and used them in the future for other events.

We were recommended Nick & Nic by my best man who knew them from previous job roles. From the initial meeting we knew that we wanted them at our wedding. Their energy and general vibe is so amazing and is something you want on your big day.On the day itself they certainly didn't disappoint and all our guests commented on how good they are and also how good their photos turned out.They turned up on time and were so good at keeping things flowing. They also commanded our guests very efficiently but politely for various group shots including the sparkler walk we did (which let me tell you does take a lot of timing and coordination!)We are truly grateful that we have such amazing memories to look back on forever and we would 100% recommend these two for any wedding venue.
