Le Nail

Got gorgeous shellac nails done for a very decent price, she really took care to do them carefully and nicely. Walked in and was served immediately. Very happy, definitely recommend!

Service has been deteriorating for a while. Always running late. Unilaterally change prices. Don’t use fresh toe dividers. But today took the biscuit. Asked for a rainbow pedicure (a different colour per toe) so 5 colours in total. Took less time than usual and used no more polish than if I’d used one colour. Got charged more without forewarning. It’s not the money. It’s the principle. Won’t go back.

Fast forward less than a week later, this is the state of my nails: 2 of them have started breaking on their own, the white shellac is stained (I've tried to use alcohol swabs on it to destain it but still no good) and I am still infuriated at the dishonesty with the £10 which is so minor but it's the principle. My toes still look cute and fresh but in all, I just wouldn't advise people to go there to get a set of acrylics done or to pay beforehand.But this is the story of what happened and the reason for my review: I went to this salon last week following a bad nail experience at a salon through treatwell. I decided to again use treatwell and book and pay through the website to go to this new place. Upon my arrival, the first young lady who welcomed me was very friendly and I explained to her that i had pre-paid online for 2 specific services: the gel nail powder extensions and a shellac pedicure; and was interested in getting nothing other than those treatments. She started doing my nails and then the other nail artist Lien came to help as she said that it would be quicker if she did my hands. The ladies were very friendly at first until Lien asked how much I had paid online for my treatment and I told her £46.20 as I had been given a £10 discount code by treatwell (unbeknown to me that treatwell still pays the salon the totality of the price so they would still be getting paid £56.20). Lien got agitated and explained that, that was incorrect and they don't give discounts and she'd need to contact the boss. The boss apparently said that I could still go ahead with my treatment but add £10 as the discount code hadn't been processed upon payment. Lien had initially moved my phone away to the side so it wouldn't fall in the pedicure water but when I explained that I wanted to stop the treatment to call treatwell to clarify with them exactly what was being purchased so that if something was wrong, i'd get refunded and pay for another service, she told me the boss had said it was fine, treatwell would refund me and that I could call them later. Moreover, Lien insisted that I should do white shellac nails to match my toes which I agreed to as I was easily swayed and it looked nice. Later I got home, called treatwell who was willing to help and refund me the £10 until they were dishonestly informed by the salon that £10 was for the additional shellac polish on my nails that I had agreed to have although that's not what they told me in the shop.

Always lovely and they do a great job at French nails. I won’t go anywhere else :)

It’s taken me a while to write this review went to get my nails done last month and this time was the last time I will ever visit this nail salon. I asked for a simple green colour and I normally get overlay on my natural nails. The guy proceeded to do my nails however the shape was terrible I asked for coffin and it was no where near coffin. He filed down my natural nails so much it began to look lopsided and uneven when I told him it didn’t look good he said the problem was my fingers and that my nails were “wonky” what a joke . He then argued with me. I wish I took a picture but I left very upset I didn’t even bother, please don’t waste your money going here I felt deflated and upset my nails were ugly if I didn’t have to be somewhere important I would’ve left without getting my nails finished. Today I went to muse beauty in Southgate 10/10 service I recommend it honestly my nails are beautiful again!!!

Ì went in to get my nails done this week infills that is but i got the shock of my when the man that started by nails has no idea on how to form a nail and was using the littlest amount of gel after I told him I wasn't happy and he said his is what everyone wants, women then took over but she wasn't too bad but have had better tbh and brutal don't waist your money go else where...

I've been here a few times and the service has always been excellent! They listen to what you want and always execute beautifully!

I went there after being recommended. The lady did not remove the full layer of my shellac. After booking a mani and pedi with shellac she did not provide either. Did a quick 10 minute shellac application. I had a very poor experience. She said she had another client and could not offer the pedicure. After which she went to eat food instead. I felt over charged and given very poor treatment. I would not go back nor would i recommend to anyone.
