I’ve been with hills waste for a year and a half. They started off reliably and then quickly descended into semi-chaos (it feels that way when you rely on a service for your business). For example, not collecting my dry mixed recycling, which then piled up outside the bin (unsightly to customers), or I had to store it in my basement which isn’t ideal in terms of hygiene. I was also charged for lifts that were not made!They are incredibly hard to get hold of. I called them just now and nobody answered and their mailbox is full (probably of complaints).Harking back to a few months ago I complained and left a negative review on Facebook as I was frustrated with not being heard. I was then contacted by someone who was very helpful, and said the lack of collection had been an administration error. I then removed my review after a fortnight of correct collections.Now my general waste hasn’t beencollected for a month. It’s unsightly and really uncool! I run a food business - what are people going to think? I’m just really BORED of paying (more than I think I’m supposed to, as well?!) for a service that only causes me anxiety and stress. Is it too much to ask for reliability?

On collecting the skip the driver blocked in a neighbour who was clearly trying to reverse out. As I asked the driver if he could wait until neighbour had moved he jumped back into his lorry and aggressively sped off without saying a word - My 3 yr old daughter was literally 10 from his wheels

Still waiting for our bin to be emptied for over 3 weeks now!! Heard every excuse and every promise that they will be out tomorrow" to collect and still no collection with a very overflowing bin!!"

Track Is To Long To Get To The Landfill Lorrys Bottoming Out On Uneven Ground Causing Damage To Trucks.,no wheel wash bringing mud and stones to the publicc road.

Don't use this company,it's completely disaster,always missed collections,when calling them to complain,always lied to you. When comes to the bill,just charges you everything they could,even with those missed collection days,they'll still charge you. I told them two times we needed lockable bins to replace the ones which they given us not lockable,got told someone would call me back to help,never anyone called. Aslo one time because they missed a collection,my bin got over flowed, I had fine from the concil and this company just used different excuses to refuse paying us money back.I wouldn't give them even just one star. I just hope my contract will end sooner.

Never had a problem with Able Waste but now has been taken over by Hills they keep missing collections - useless, useless, useless, can't even get through on the phone to cancel my contract! AND ANOTHER WEEK GOES BY WITH NO COLLECTION!!! THREE WEEKS IN A ROW NOW! Well I think we can make that 4 WEEKS!! Where are you?

Appalling service - they've failed to collect our bins for nearly 2 months, they don't seem to have any idea what is going on and keep changing the day they say they're going to collect (and then don't collect it anyway). When I've actually managed to speak to their customer services about it then the driver likes to blame the issues on us saying our bin isn't out for collection when it actually is. I'd strongly recommend that you DONT use this company."

Wouldn't recommend this company at all, bunch of cowboys. Got two bins with them and there meant to be collected every Thursday and never stick to it always have to try and ring different numbers/departments just to get someone to answer the phone. USELESS.

Overweight charge on 1100 litre bin.we received a 200kg extra charge!! I had to google it....thats 32 stone overweight and we only put paper waste in it.
