Norfolk Park Medical Practice

It’s Bad GP it’s no respect I don’t like them . All the team unsmiling never and bad service.. I am not recommended , especially if you are not from this country !I've already left them and signed up for somewhere else that's much better thanks God

Dr Laycock and Dr Gilroy are both amazing. I’ve always found the practice very efficient for obtaining repeat prescriptions.I’ve also never had a problem getting an appointment when I book online. I don’t know how they manage so many patients so effectively. I think all the staff are brilliant.

I feel so lucky to be a patient of this surgery. I have never had an issue getting a same day appointment as I always ring at 8:30am. The reception team contact me when my B12 injections are due etc which I really appreciate due to a busy lifestyle and ADHD making it hard to remember! When I can’t speak due to work they will text me instead where I can text back. I am lucky enough to always see the same doctor so feels like an old school family service where they’d see your kids growing up and have that person centred approach towards you and understand your history. Both doctors and nurses always remember you and it feels genuine and warm. On some occasions reception team went above and beyond to watch my daughter for me whilst I was in an appointment. I am a nurse and hear a lot of negative feedback from my patients about their GP surgeries which makes me even more grateful to be with a good one. I want to say a particular thank you to the practise nurse Debbie. She is absolutely amazing and I’m sure she has no idea how much her patients appreciate her. She has an excellent approach and makes people feel valued and cared for. This is really important to so many who go through life feeling nobody listens or cares. I hope to be even half the nurse she is one day! The practise is also spotless and has been for the last 6 years I’ve been a patient. Truly appreciate you all. Thank you.

The doctors here are excellent I don't think I've had better..... but getting through to one is another manner. On many occasions the reception staff have refused to add to the callback list as they felt they had the training of a medical professional and you didn't need to speak to a doc, or advising to speak to your therapist about medication instead of the doctor...and they think this is acceptable. Its very unprofessional and makes the whole event of being unwell that little more embarrassing and confusing.

The Doctors and healthcare professionals are amazing I've had a great experience so far I'd give them 10/10. The reception staff however, are absolutely shocking. Ive just joined this gp recently and have already had issues. They can be so unprofessional. I don't know if its incompetence or they just hate the job. When you come to the desk they don't even want to adress you . When you call in they'd rather get you off of the phone than hear what you have to say. Just absolutely shocking behaviour the receptionist look so miserable.

Can't speak better about this practice. I could give 10 stars!First of all, the phone line works, they always pick up the phones, you might be waiting for several minutes on peak times but you always go through to someone.The staff is always so polite and understanding, patient and respectful.They always try to accommodate an appointment within less than 10 days, never had to wait too long to be seen by a doctor and always healed from issues I had. Also, waiting time at the practice are reduced as they're really well organised. Doctors and nurses are so skilled and kind!Thanks for your great job!

I am updating my review of this doctors surgery as my experience has significantly improved from 4 years ago.Staff at this surgery has had a switcharound and I believe that their performance has improved as a direct result of this. They will do anything they can to help and that is brilliant for me as a long term patient with chronic illnesses. I feel like I am respected as a patient.The reception staff have become super friendly and it's always nice to have a brief chat with Andrea if she is on the desk or helping me book an appointment on the phone.I can definitely say that Dr White is one of the best GPs Arbourthorne has to offer as she truly goes above and beyond to ensure her patients are satisfied. I'm happy to be a patient at this surgery
