Gilles has been teaching me French for a number of years now. He adopts a personalised approach, being adaptable & catering for specific needs, whilst also displaying a great deal of approachability & patience. That, in turn, inspires confidence & encourages the learning process. He is an excellent tutor whom I would recommend without hesitation.

Giles has an outstanding service and helped bring my GCSE grade up from a 4 ,in my mock result, to a 7 in my final exam. He is a super teacher and was prepared to re teach me the basics from his native point of view whilst still being able to communicate efficiently with me and help me learn. Great tutor. Thanks to Giles & his personalised style I was able to take some basic add hock vocabulary and progress my French skills to the point of studying for & passing the DELF A1 exam.That was a few years ago & done in the context of my company / a business setting. He is patient, thorough, friendly but also appropriately tough when it’s needed! I think it really helps that he is French & a native speaker. So recently when my son needed some tuition & confidence building to prepare for his GCSE I naturally contacted Giles again.The goal was to ensure that he achieved a good grade & ideally improve upon his mock exam scores – It really worked! He assessed & concentrated on a few key specific areas that needed attention & also encouraged my son to put in the effort required! The outcome & grade ‘boost’ of several levels was a huge success & beyond expectations.No hesitation in recommending to others requiring similar tuition.

Brilliant tuition for all ages. Conducted in a calm, focussed manner, Gilles helped step up my French during my A-levels enabling me to achieve the grades to study it at University. His experience and knowledge of the language and culture helped ensure that I was not confused about topics. His friendliness and humour means that even the mundane parts of French grammar can be fun.
